Ok - get the vet to do bloods& urine tests ... this time . - if he's anaemic it could be from all sorts of things , and it seems now a matter of urgency to have him thoroughly checked .It would be good to have an answer - a relief for you. pale may be his colour .. but the vet will test . Oh - have you spoken with his breeder at all ? has pup had a heartworm injection or anything ? best of luck .

Try to not get so wound up - THIS alone, will be affecting pup, who now has a bad vibe from food /feeding time wherever he is relaxed ..be it outside , or in a room ... leave him with a couple of different MEATY bones ,some vegemite toast, some grated cheese , and a bowl full of the kibble . do NOT hover , or babytalk, or try & keep him close to you to eat. Do not even LOOK at him ..just carry on about your daily routine ..and see what happens over the next hour or two keep your other dog crated or tied ....but still in sight of pup. poor pup - he now sees feeding time as torture ....

I suspect they are just playful - maybe it's cooler- maybe they've been somewhere new- maybe they have just had a good day :)

how often do you notice the behaviour? If she is in season , it should only be twice a year .

Oh my - that face is the cutest:) :) Glad all is going well - drains can be annoying . -
it is a similar infection, I think ... and I vote betadine scrub as the BEST thing for the horse version ..dog version , scrub, then apply betadine solution. The betadine works almost instantly to kill bacteria/fungal infection ..and by doing it a couple of times a day , the skin gets a chance to heal cleanly :)

real bull ants? Inch ants? get rid of them !! Must admit ..he is braver than I , if he did get bitten - I screamed the place down - the pain was like someone had driven a red hot knife into my leg! Bull ants can cause all sorts of problems ! perhaps ..and I have no idea if dogs get it - but MSG affects me the same - hives/pain and much discomfort. I do not eat sausages anymore, cos most have MSG in -

if you're out all day - just make sure she doesn't get fed before you go ...give her a long walk/run ..and leave her with treat balls/large iceblock with treats frozen in ... and enjoy yourself . *thinks that she could never go anywhere and put dog in crate during the visit* -

They do :) I guess I am being cautious , after the very rocky start they had with this little girl ..and how anxious she was ... It was meant as more of a reassuring comment than me disregarding the owners anxiousness :) Ok ... -
it will not be 'good' anymore - any oils will be rancid ..and nutrients depleted/gone.

Whimpering and shivering can be anxiety/coming down off the anaesthetic .... their temperature regulator can be upset somewhat.... if she sees the laundry as safe - and being the worrywort she is - I would DEFINITELY use the laundry . She doesn't need the stress of being somewhere different - not after all the trouble you had with her from the beginning ,,,, make sure she can be either snuggledin lots of bedding , or lie on the floor to get cool - give her water ..and leave her quiet and undisturbed . As she hasn't eaten or drunk much, toileting may not even happen .... *BREATHE* :) -

Why not just leave her home? non one really enjoys the visits, it seems , so why do it? Give her something special , like a huge ice cream container iceblock ... and go visit :) -

Can Anyone Explain 'itchyosis Carrier' ?
persephone replied to Seren's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Coopex may indeed get rid of some fleas - also earthworms, ladybirds- crickets ...... a very drastic measure . Fleas are more likely to be inside, as they like warm, secluded spots like carpets, under mats/deep in furniture - that sort of thing - so flea-bombing the house may be sensible . Clipping and application of something really only needs doing if there is any skin damage - skin looks red or mucky . Calendula would be terrific in the case of chewing because of itches . :) -
What's wrong with macadamias? Never done it, just curious. I give a little mango, Apple and strawberry. Not much so it doesn't go through them. they are quite toxic . A friend shared a few with her dog ..and dog collapsed , had to be rushed to the vet , and was a few days getting back to neurologically normal.! it was an expensive lesson

dante - Hmmmmm

I used to train a dog who would ,ever so gently, pick her own blackberries :) LOL Does Dante eat lemons????? or just the peel?
-
Oh - our dogs pick up walnuts from under the tree and shell them to enjoy the treat inside - they love them . NEVER FEED MACADAMIAS .
