It is a bit sore , no doubt ... but he certainly has NO idea of what his testicles were, let alone feeling "violated " :)

How Long Can A Dog Stay In A Crate For Safely?
persephone replied to Willowlane's topic in General Dog Discussion
Talking it over with Steve is indeed the wisest choice, as he knows you, your dogs and your situation :) -
I agree - why expose her to other dogs if she reacts like that ? She doesn't 'have' to like or play with others of her kind - esp as she has her sibling , training, and a wonderful doggy yard!! Also, I would be concerned that your boy may pick up on her behaviour , and react in ways you won't enjoy Another who strongly suggests a reputable and recommended behaviourist .Feel free to ask on here for names !!

Just make sure he gets some fluid tonight .. and get some sleep . Tomorrow will be a big day .

Dog Gets Too Excited About Visitors

have him onleash when thee are guests? -
I prefer to not have things too warm ..as then puppies may not gravitate toward mum , and she may not gather them in ;) Just make sure the chill is off the air ,...(have you thought about one of these ? they are fantastic, and safe! ) and whelping box is preferably like a 'den/cave' to keep bodywarmth trapped in there .

How are things today ?

swazzie - That diagnosis certainly sounds very bad - so yes, a specialist opinion will either confirm and explain and guide - or perhaps give other news. I wish you all the strength needed .
-
being optimistic here ..depending where it is ..did they mention a resection? Anyhow - get your second opinion - and ask for a written report - as you may not be in a state to absorb the info - this shouldn't be a problem , and will give you something to study .
-
Ok - I would get the second opinion now , ASAP - no use waiting any longer, if he seems to be losing weight so quickly .And, if the diagnoses match - then you know . It is indeed , such a quick decline , that it seems decisions need to be made fast . SO sorry for you all - take lots of happy photos ...and cuddle your boy lots ..

Don't think you HAVE to have a puppy to have a strong relationship :) My absolute favourite 'heart dog' as an adult was obtained by me at 2 yrs of age - we bonded in a short time - to the extent of him escaping from a commercial kennel situation, finding my car in the car park , and squeezing in the 1/2 open window , to sit on the the driver's seat !! What could I do , but take him home ? No way would I recommend a puppy to anyone with little kids ..yes, lots of families do it , but , as stated , it's like having another baby in the house!! Toilet training, chewing, illness, cleaning, play rules, vet visits, innoculations, entertaining, toys everywhere- AND the kids need to be trained as well ;)

So, what does K9pro say ? as they have a deal of input, and know your pup MUCH better than we do , I feel it would be wise to ask them :) -
I would perhaps just use mince (lean) and wombaroo for a few days ? When weaning here , pups don't get kibble at 4 weeks - they get mince and huge bones with heaps of meat on :)
-
Wow???? that is beautiful. It would be stunning on a wall!

Oh:( So sorry. I hope he is on anti nausea and pain relief at least- and don't forget you can always get a second opinion. Did they X-ray ? : hug:
