  1. leave her out of a crate? use a larger pen instead, where she has a CHOICE of substrates ?
  2. abject misery he was on his chain ( we have no fences at present..and chain length gives him, and Smoke, about 70 m2 in which to run /play) I have told him that he is the ONLY dog for whom I have actually spent money on a 'real dog bed '...so a few minutes in the rain will not kill him . Mind you - if there were rabbits in a deluge , he wouldn't mind ;)

  5. TSD - that's a good idea! :) I use one in my room .. as sometimes Widget needs to pee overnight ..and she wouldn't dare wake me ...she uses the pad , and everyone's happy ;)
  6. they do have a BUSY business ..and also lives away from the business ;) You have made contact - they WILL get back to you ! I recommend them for all things GSD .. you and your pup will be getting the best!
  7. Rozzieeeee.... :) try these- for a little teeny puppy they may not be seen as a toy ...they survived a piglet ..so a teeny puppy should be no bother ;) they hold amazing amounts of liquid and dry fast after a wash :) They are brilliant!
  8. :) Buttons is the first 'non family' dog Don has met ..and they had a ball!! Inside they were like two kids ... egging each other on .... it was lovely to see .

  13. so - a person ended up with a some oops teeny SWF babies ...mum got mastitis ..babies have been handreared . the will be sold with all vet work done , incl desex - plus leashes, bed, food ...prospective buyers are being put thru the third degree ... why on earth are some sad sacks wanting to get the welfare agencies involved???? *sigh*
  14. Agreed . IF she needs to stay in a kennel - and they will NOT accept titre tests , then vacc her if you must ... I hope she settles into a long and healing sleep tonight for you both ....

  16. yes! the BEST diet for a dog with allergies is a diet which does NOT contain the stuff to which he is allergic. This can take time - and may be as simple as food colourings, or as complex as one type of meat protein ...
  17. :) find another trainer first . I don't understand why you would use an implant AND have a vasectomy done? if you are usnure of trainers - perhaps ask on here - someone may know of a good one in the West for you :)
  18. No tripping - he may look goofy - but he can be deadly serious! he carried that thing this morning for about 20 minutes .......
