LOL - sometimes stuff will disappear from a cat bowl. or coffee table etc ... but usually it's easy to work out what happened- there is very often a favourite dog toy left a the scene!!

:) Our puppies all learn 'gimme' ..and mostly will happily relinquish what they have in their mouths - be it toys/bones /stolen property . Bowzer - it's a great idea. !

Yes your quite right about having a circular one and also concave. Only problem as far as I am aware they have to be imported and at great expense. They also come with in built heating. I think the cheaper option is, as previously suggested, a clam shell pool and then buy a heat pad. I prefer to have one section warm and part of it not heated so they can crawl off the heat if they want to. If I ever breed another litter this is what I think I will go for. sounds a good plan ... I was thinking of something like a papasan Chair - you remember ? those cane half sphere things - gorgeous to sit in - impossible to get out of ? LOL aaah yes those were the days, when we were young and lithe and slim...........and we still couldn't get out of the damn things! :laugh: LOL!! That's it!

Noooooo ! he was happy because his night-shift was over !. because he enjoys barking at things .. he gets to be the one tied in the middle of the "lawn" to keep kangaroos off . They have all but destroyed any lawn what with drought ... Dogs on Night Duty get their doonas , their dinner and a water bucket ....and some bread & peanut butter when their shift ends ;)

Sorry, Scottsmum ..T is correct :) WAGS - P's dad is an absolute devil when it comes to working goats ...and has a habit of starting fights amongst any dogs around ...but is the clingiest , softest dog around humans ... yesterday, there was a ski boat making an odd noise .. I had a bat eared dog plastered to my front .. head buried under my ear , his front legs around my neck .... (and no iphone for a selfie :p )

...The Boss's dogs are known locally as "milkshakes" all mixed up ! ;)

Cause they are easier to make. :D I made my own and no way could I make a curved one. Lots of people do use clam shells or blow up pools dependng on the size of the dog. fair enough :)

pudden- his dad , mum , and maternal grandma . he is a LOT like his maternal grandma in looks , size and temperament .

A little off topic maybe //but why are whelping boxes rectangular , when dogs are curved? working sheepdog bitches whelp usually in clean sand , where they dig a hollow . Puppies will always roll to the centre , and there are rarely squashed ones , or ones who cannot access the bitch's warmth/milk .

Do you know what that is teaching her? That you are to be feared ... that's all. She is NOT peeing to be 'cheeky' . Guaranteed. She is more likely peeing because you do not yet understand what she is telling you...and because she is a bit fearful when you approach .. She can also be peeing more because of a BLADDER INFECTION .. I strongly suggest a vet check /urine sample .. to rule out a urinary tract infection .

It was lovely ... Lilly the GR is only 9 mths old ..and I could happily have kidnapped her :) Very gentle , and well mannered ...and muddy and gorgeous . An ideal dog for a rare 'other dog experience ' :) Pudden is basically a gentle boy, luckily.

Unusually, yesterday we had visitors who brought their dog ( we normally don't encourage strange dogs) ... Puddenhead was very pleased ! ( So was I , as it's the first time he's met another dog properly , and only the second meeting new people ) he also settled nicely as we all had a cuppa ..

perhaps contact the breeder and ask them ? :)

Talk to your dog's breeder? and , yes ... use a stud dog, or purchase semen for an AI .
