  1. I don't think so. Though when the breeder took that pic she apologized for him being so dirty. He's had his eyes checked and all good but might be worth looking into a bit more :) yes. he's a perky little guy :)
  2. how exciting :) Do puppies like him always have so much tear staining ?
  3. That's a good story :) the 'snake savvy' bit is interesting . I have seen that behaviour when youngsters first spot a skink, or a large beetle ! the wariness, the sniffing, the quick movements .. I guess it is an instinctive protective set of movements - which may be lessened over many generations of breeding ?
  4. Sometimes it only takes one small thing . echoing foot steps a nasty scent one odd noise exhaust puff in the face
  5. Worth checking , yes :) maybe an infection .. perhaps he was dreaming .....
  6. Dear little man - hope it doesn't stop him being rehomed :)
  7. I heartily agree with the bolded bits .... kind of agree with the italicised bits ......
  8. Thank goodness you have a roof and walls ... living in a tent with two dogs and after effects would be just dreadful . take care - your dogs are such a testament to good care . :)
  9. So you do have two 'problem children' . Rusy certainly has had his share of worries, it seems. How old is he?
  10. hi :) Sorry for the extra questions- here on D O L ... we like to make sure folks know there are a range of choices , and we hate to see folks make bad choices ;) I presume you have had good experiences with the types of training these people offer- and now want to pass it on? If you have not trained your dog with them, or talked with dog owners who have - then what drew you to them ? What is it about their form of training you love, and why do you feel that you should learn from them?
  11. perhaps crate Rusty ... leave the kelpie out to enjoy things? Do you know anything about Rusty? was he maybe removed from Mum/littermates early - and has not learned dog language /inhibition properly? Definitely a good behaviourist is needed to assess both dogs, and then decide on a plan.
  12. "binjy" ..the name I use on photosetc :)
  13. Tallie cat sleeps on the other side - yes . She is still queen - but as long as everyone stays verry verry still .. she withholds punishment ;)
  14. This is a little table , actually . Mr Wilson cat used to use it as he was vicious toward legs/feet at night, and I got sick of blood and pain he had a crate on it . At present it is a foam pad with sheepskin cover .... Dear Molly , last night it was cool , so I just threw a pillow over her - she slept solid! Not sure if she's 'broken' , or just wonderful :)
  15. yep. Molly IS on her own bed .. the fact that it abutts my bed, and is the same height is irrelevant. ....
  16. I like this idea ..this poor baby has had a LOT of adjustments all at once -
  17. a couple of iphone snaps from this afternoon ...
  18. :) Small or not, she looks very happy and loved :)
  19. She is elegant at the moment - it will be interesting to see how she matures .
  20. He thinks he's a puppy still ..also thinks he still has 'puppy licence' ;)
