  1. hi :) Sorry for the extra questions- here on D O L ... we like to make sure folks know there are a range of choices , and we hate to see folks make bad choices ;) I presume you have had good experiences with the types of training these people offer- and now want to pass it on? If you have not trained your dog with them, or talked with dog owners who have - then what drew you to them ? What is it about their form of training you love, and why do you feel that you should learn from them?
  2. perhaps crate Rusty ... leave the kelpie out to enjoy things? Do you know anything about Rusty? was he maybe removed from Mum/littermates early - and has not learned dog language /inhibition properly? Definitely a good behaviourist is needed to assess both dogs, and then decide on a plan.
  3. "binjy" ..the name I use on photosetc :)
  4. Tallie cat sleeps on the other side - yes . She is still queen - but as long as everyone stays verry verry still .. she withholds punishment ;)
  5. This is a little table , actually . Mr Wilson cat used to use it as he was vicious toward legs/feet at night, and I got sick of blood and pain he had a crate on it . At present it is a foam pad with sheepskin cover .... Dear Molly , last night it was cool , so I just threw a pillow over her - she slept solid! Not sure if she's 'broken' , or just wonderful :)
  6. yep. Molly IS on her own bed .. the fact that it abutts my bed, and is the same height is irrelevant. ....
  7. I like this idea ..this poor baby has had a LOT of adjustments all at once -
  8. a couple of iphone snaps from this afternoon ...
  9. :) Small or not, she looks very happy and loved :)
  10. She is elegant at the moment - it will be interesting to see how she matures .
  11. He thinks he's a puppy still ..also thinks he still has 'puppy licence' ;)
  12. So much work :) It seems to be going well --
  13. Tramadol doesn't agree with ME , so maybe not with her either ...
  14. Thank you T :) :) I really appreciate the giddy up from DOL photo ladies, all of you take such perfect photos and are being very kind to an L plater. xxxx oh yeah - L plater ! L is for LEADER :p :p
  15. Molly doesn't seem to care at this stage .... I was calling him today - couldn't see him . Molly gazed intently to the verandah .. and as I went to the spot - felt him poke me from behind . *sigh* :)
  16. oohh ..she looks to have/had a sore nose ... ;)
  17. Don and pudden are , well, boys .. not terribly agile or dainty .. and Molly is just so light on her little feet ... and so fine, compared to the boys ... hence her pretty collar , which for one not given to 'dressing' dogs routinely is something a bit different ;)
  18. sounds as if something is pinching ..and the collar feels odd ... try giving her a big chewy bone ..and keep her somewhere she can see you . if you are concerned phone the vet .
  19. Pud takes after his maternal grandma - Miss M ... she has a lot of one of her ancestors about her - 'Weasel' who was bug eyed and deep chested , and who seemed to have a shady past .. with perhaps some whippet blood.
  20. :) good plan .. except that later desexing allows the natural hormones to assist in growing a sturdy dog with healthy bones.
  21. Good update :) I second/third NOT feeding her after you get home . Wait a couple of hours if you can - and have food prepared /sitting in fridge/cupboard , so she doesn't get too excited ;)
