We had a surprise visit from friends on their little houseboat . they fed us - and welcomed the two pups with a bowl full of doggy food - and a spot on the couch ;) Whilst they adored Molly - she wouldn't go near them All we heard during the evening was how gorgeous she was ... LOL . hopefully at some stage, she'll decide that other humans love her as well ...
  2. I am having an enforced holiday from one pet group ... * sigh* hopefully I did educate some along the way ...especially the ones with 'pure breads' and lots of puppies at exorbitant prices .

  6. maybe your dad fed his bitches more - they probably had pups ..and stored food away? there is usually some truth in every tale /proverb /observation :)
  7. I have never noticed any difference in the burying rate of the sexes. here it IS however , noticeable with individuals. Some bury with a few nosefuls of dirt /blanket /sticks , some guard fiercely without burying , some excavate and make a cellar room !

  11. Pups' ears do change, the same as the rest of their body :) .. he is nowhere near teething yet - that's a few months away . I presume you have spoken with his breeder about your concern ?

  14. Unless he is urinating a LOT and very often .. I wouldn't panic . he is young, very active,and on dry food . he also has a decent coat , so would be warm . yes, by all means ask the vet - but NEVER restrict water unless it is to benefit a diagnosed condition . :)
