LOL ... teething is when they sit/lie down and gnaw on things for longer times , they do NOT grab peoples' hands ;) he sounds as if he is showing some 'teenage' stuff What training does he get each day , and what sort of games ? How do you speak with puppy ?Do you use a higher pitched , 'baby' voice ..or just normal conversation tone ?

psst...you may want to check forum guidelines at the top of the page - the forum prefers mixed breed dogs be called what they are , a Beagle x , Pugx , etc ;) Has she been speyed yet ? Sometimes , approaching a season , bitches will pee a LOT more . It would also be useful to know what surfaces she used for a toilet before you got her ... a 2 hr walk!! That's a long way for a youngster .. can you take her twice a day , instead of once ? She may be more inclined to try & hold on if she thinks there's a regular walk I have never had a dog in an apartment long term, so can't really help . The only things I can suggest off the top of my head ..are to clean with a good biologically based cleaner .. 'urine-off' or similar named products AND .. teach her to associate toileting with a word you choose . Remember though, you'll be using this in public . I use 'Quick, or Quick, quick. Hi - some background info will help us Dog breed? does he live indoors or out? Did he come from a breeder? What is he like when you are out walking him on leash? Are you home much? is your yard securely fenced , with no way to see anything ?

Short breaks are a good way for your next dog to sniff you out ;) long breaks confuse the issue ....

Feeding dogs is an individual thing ... my take on it is to feed so as to provide a nice variety of goodness, in as small an amount as possible ... Dogs are lucky in that their meal can be calorie/nourishment dense ..not bulky . of course, this also means less poo patrol ..a good thing!! There are good kibble brands out there .. do not go by the ads ..go by word of mouth ..and what YOUR DOG does best on ..ie: satiety/weight levels and waste produced With skinny dogs here (koolies & kelpies ) they get more fatty meat meals , and eggs , and some cheese meat is usually fed on the bone , so as mentioned ..lamb flaps are great ..as are brisket bones ..and a good pet mince Chewing a meal off a large soft bone regularly will also help with muscle tone ;)

poor boy is definitely thin , and at 11 mths needs good nutrition to grow with . Not a nutrition expert ..esp not quantities ..as I work off what the dog looks like ... BUT suggest 3 meals a day(so he gets the amount he needs, but not a huge mass at once ) of good meaty food .. beef brisket / chicken/ lamb ..whole eggs ... a good pet mince containing bone for his calcium , perhaps ? all sorts of meat/organs/offal

here's hoping! is there an artificial tears thing for dogs ?

Not feeding info - but these downloads may prove useful CLICK here feeding ? chicken frames , whole, might be a better choice than wing tips ... not sure what value they would have for such a large dog ?

Poor Astro. Would removing the eyeball solve the problem? Not having tears would then not be a factor .. and with lids closed /fused and a strong A/B regime any infection/inflammation would also be gone - taking the constant pain away .... ?

spending this extra time with humans indoors will increase her wonderfulness when her forever home comes along
