You can not enter ccd and novice on the same day or even the next day.you are either competing in ccd or novice.you actually are to have put in for your title before you can enter at the next level.it doesnt have to appeared in vic dog ,but your paper work must be in the pipeline.hope this has cleared up your question.

In UD for food refusal the dog has to completely ignore all atemps to feed it. When you leave the dog the only command that you can give is STAY. One way to teach it is when you have another person offer the food, you leave the dog with the command STAY, then thfey approach if the dog goes for the food the person offering trhe food very gently pushes the dog's head away,with a very soft verbal correction. I hope this helps. In realation to dogs not taking food or anything else on a walk the LEAVE IT command is one of the best things any dog can learn.

i am sorry to hear that you are not welcome at your local club but you can get help from other triallers all you have to do is just ask most are happpy to help.

you are doing a great job considering you are doing it with out much help. with your recall you can not let your dog sit in front with two paws off the ground. i hope you dont mind the advice when you are doing the flip watch you body movements ,try and keep your upperbody as still as possible. if you move your shoulders to much it could be seen as 2nd signal. with your healing it is very good,but do not let your dog dictate pace practice doing different paces all the time so flea does not know what you atr going to donext so flea has to watch you. in your turns imagine that you are in very tight space and that you have only your body width to turn in and lastly also insist on a straight sit in front. i do hpe you do noy mind my hints to you. i f you stand just one more piece of advice please get some first hand experinced help before oyou start with your articles ud is hard enough and you can stuff up your dog veryquickly if you are not sure what you are doing

in all problems with any exercises you really have to go back to basics. the group exercises are the hardest. as you have entered at southern you do not have much time to do anything. i would practice my stays at the trial as close as i could get to the ring as i could without actually training out side the ring as this very much frowned apon. bearing in mind that he is only just begining his obedience career do not any thing that is going make him worry about being left with other dogs.after this trial if you can do stays with really reliable dogs to get confidence back.
