  1. Hi Morgerot - no I didnt neeed brakes in mine - I did ask John if I did but he said no. My trailer in 400 kg. it is a big 2 berth with wardrobe (or 3rd bay) and tack box, with trolley rack on the back and ezu shade platform on the front. It is on a 5 x 7 chasis. If you were going up to a bigger size then I would guess that you might - but John will advise.. He is fantastic as he will tell you what works and what wont - but then making a suggestion re getting something to suit the specs..
  2. rofl, love it, yep my lot have the plastic drink containers in their cruising canines trailer.. Im a bit paraonid re the pugs but they love the trailer - ie, go and stand in front of it rather than the car!!!
  3. Hi - yes I sure have! I've sat in my Cruising Caninces trailer in some of the hot days that we have had since November and it is noticeably cooler. I also have a temperature gauge in mine.. John also rigged up a portable fan for mine and it is fabulous. If you compare the car temp with the trailer temps i think you will be pleasantly surprised. i can also say that my Cruising Canine trailer DOES NOT LEAK.. Not through the caravan front or anywhere else (unless a dopey owner leaves the spinners open and the trailer parked outside in a downpour..... then I got about 1 Tablespoon fo water in the weather side bay but none in the wardrobe (which has spinners) and none in the caravan tack box... happy to answer any questions on the Cruising Canines trailers.
  4. I have o ne of Cruising Canine's trailers - and honestly couldnt be happier with it. The prices listed are a good discount and you wont get a better made trailer. They are spectacularly made and are usually made to order - so this is an unusual opportunity.. the quality of the build and the service from the Cruising Canine Teams is fabulous.. They are waterproof - including the caravan fronts - John has a little addition to the top of the door which ensures it is waterproof. I have never driven a trailer before and have had no trouble with driving and moving mine - still practicing reversing!!
  5. I agree Canine country is excellent.. My butcher also minces carcasses for me, so Alf gets all the benefit and I do give him wing tips and necks and he loves those - just not wings or a hunk of carcass
  6. i feed chicken necks or wings daily - my dogs only eat raw. on weekends they get a whole chicken frame each on one day they also get lamb flaps and offal. So no problem with chicken with my lot.
  7. sounds great Trifecta! Please let us know! I loved Dr B's stuff until he sold it.... I contacted Rob at Barking Fresh - if he can continue to get the interest and the orders for raw he will do a chicken one in the new year which will have bones.. So all good!! I will be using that as well as the beef!!!!!
  8. i feed raw all the time - pups get nothing else but, however I also use the 7 rule. different types of food before 7 weeks.. so chicken, beef, veal, lamb, turkey, kidney, liver, fish etc... all raw..
  9. Trifecta just email Rob throug the web site- I am 100% sure that I saw chicken on there - Im so sure that last night I emailed him and said that I would love to try some of the chicken one, so at a guess if he doesnt have one he will soon!!! Rob is very keen to produce a product that works for the dogs - and for the owners. i actually feed bones, so I dont worry about if there are bones crushed in it.. the value of the dog actually having to crunch and shred and tear the meat off the bone is enormous - exercises jaws, neck and shoulder muscles that they dont get to exercise any other way!!!
  10. I used to feed Dr B's until they stopped using local vegies and started using imported ones...... That was the end of me - I dont want something that has been sprayed with goodness knows what from China in the dogs food. I would have gone beserk if I had found metal in a pattie - as I am sure you did Sandi's Mum!!
  11. I see that Rob has updated the website http://www.barkingfresh.com.au/products/index.html
  12. There is a new raw supplier in Canberra www.barkingfresh.com.au human grade ingredients and delivered to your door. I have just co me across it and am very impressed.
  13. They do cooked as well. The raw is brand new... well worth a try..
  14. just thought that I would let people who are interested in varying their dogs' diets or who are like me and feed only raw, that i have come across a new raw food supplier in Canberra. Rob Ware has started a company called Barking Fresh and he is based in Tuggeranong. The pugs tried the food this week and LOVE it - and i do have a couple of fussy eaters. I understand that this is just a new business so if anyone is interested in seeing what Barking Fresh has to offer, here are Rob's contact details.. 0404 831 064 [email protected] www.barkingfresh.com.au www.facebook.com/barkingfresh
  15. Hi Andisa may I ask what you liked about it and what it did that others dont do?!! :D Im a mad groomer so am always keen to try something new out!
  16. After about 7 years of reseach and contact with trailer companies, I have recently ordered a trailer from www.cruisingcanines.com.au Whilst I dont have the trailer yet, it is being purpose built for me - as are all of their trailers and I was informed up front that the trailer would be a couple of months due to orders. I have to say that I have rarely dealt with such a customer focussed organisation. Stacey and John are absolutely terriffic to deal with, all enquiries are answered promptly and I can only say that my experience has been nothing short of exceptional.... They have coped with endless questions from me, we have redesigned the trailer about 5 times, nothing is a problem and if my trailer is half as good as the service that I have received then I will be completely over the moon!! I spent a lot of time surfing the net and contacted off my own bat people who had purchased trailers from Cruising Canines. I cant find anyone who has a bad word to say AND everyone that I contacted re the trailer when I was researching the company and looking for ideas, has been so helpful and generous with their time and sharing ideas. I really have been completely blown away by the experience.. Just fantastic. I couldnt recommend them highly enough.
  17. This is such sad news - a great loss to the dog community. Thoughts are with Denise's family and friends.
  18. It might have been - 10, and the show did start late - but only 20 -30 mins (max) - so close to a 9am start rather than 8.30 am!!
  19. I certainly have never owned a Cav but I do spend an awful lot of my time with them! :D I have seen a Cav youngster's mouth change dramatically in short period of time. It depends on how badly the mouth is undershot - ie, just or a lot! I dont ever look in baby's mouths when judging - because if I was to do that an apply the dentition rule, no baby would ever be awarded anything!!!!!! They hardly have full dentition I would be "watchful" with a 12 week old baby Cav, but I certainly would not be throwing the baby out with the bath water. They really can take until they are 18 months..

  21. On the wekeend my nearly 3 year old champion - who is living in the most wonderful pet home - was shown in the very first neuter shows in the ACT. I was disappointed that more people didnt enter - however I did hear that a couple of the groups had quite a few in, which is excellent!! the excitment that Enzo's pet owners felt as he took out the very first Neuter in Show award was quite conatgeous!!!! They are now going to come out to shows just to help - even if Enzo isnt entered. Im a big support of the event - it could get more people back showing, and that is something we desperately need.
