Not the rabid supporters, they will just believe what they are told by Mark, but the fence sitters and officials will. Have you noticed that the number of rescues going to the rally is quite small, if they support Moorook they will be written off by completely. It doesn't really matter if individuals are made fools of in the big picture, they will just go back in their holes but rescue orgs will be associated with Moorook. After breeders are locked down rescue will be next and the more rescues that are seen to endorse Moorook the worse the consequences will be. The clean up will be based how bad it can get and what has to happen to prevent that. Good rescue will be paying for the sins of the Moorook type operators, though Moorook is the worst I've seen anywhere.

I agree, when the facts come out at the trial people will be wishing they weren't associated with Moorook. Others will think that the supporters either have no problem with the cruelty that goes on there or they just blindly support anything without any facts.

On one of the shows that look at this sort of thing they found insects cause this effect, but I'd say it's something bigger like a frogmouth using the light to catch something. They do the same thing with headlights. It looks very cool though

Attendance at the rally will be assumed to be support for Moorook no matter what the stall holders think. Does Mark really think he can stop the rspca if they want on his property, if they have a warrant that gives them access they'll just break down the barricades, can he really believe this No wonder he never gets elected he isn't all that smart.

I bet people who are throwing in their hard earned wages will be interested in where the money has gone, it certainly isn't on decent enclosures and they have a lot of food donated.

Well now they said they built an infirmary, but why didn't they show pictures of it.

When they were showing off their awesome facilities via FB I don't remember seeing any new buildings, wouldn't they have shown that as it would be new and far better than the awful enclosures they posted pictures of. I'm calling bullshit on the $16,000 being spent on that until there is proof.

No Honeybyn, it's just the man trying to keep them down :laugh: If you want to get given money you need to bloody well do it by the book, why should they get let off when others make sure they get the appropriate licenses.

They don't even have any real info, they are going off what they read on FB and dismiss anyone who has real knowledge of the place. It's actually quite scary how far they are going based on lies. People like this are so easy to fool and whip into a frenzy, led by an ego maniac who wants some cred to help him get elected.

As bad as that is there are worse stories as well. People are worried about speaking out because the supporters aren't exactly rational. The best thing for the animals is if they get shut down. I agree with Snook on how galling it is to have Lola spoken of as a saint

This is no kill at it's worst. I cannot wait till the truth comes out about this hell hole and what Lola really gets up to. Lynching, figures ETA, I bet Mark ends up defending them if allowed, they won't get anyone else and wouldn't that be some kind of spectacle

I still can't believe the number of people who just want to jump on the cause and ignore those who post something about their experiences there. Two different people wrote about being attacked by a dog on a chain, one woman about how the dogs were filthy and in cages where they couldn't get out of the rain. She saw Lola hand a pup over for $50 to some people that were being very rough with it. I can't remember the rest. It is very ironic that they bleat about being banned from the rspca page yet call people trolls who want to post something on their page and ban them. I was banned without even posting because I have been honest about conditions on here. Seeing saint Lola is a joke, very few of those supporters have even been anywhere near the place. The rspca will bury them now, they should have acted earlier, they had enough reports from locals but now they will go for broke. So thankfully this hellhole will be closed.

Easy to pick holes in it. For example Bear, age 14 and seeing the vet for injections twice a year (if true), initial vet checks passed him but how long ago was that? Brandy, they are conceding to possibility of sores on the hocks and saying it would be because of the leg removed. If that's the case then treat and put in a suitable enclosure so she isn't getting pressure sores! I won't give them any more ideas (they are sunk anyway) but I'm sure everyone can see what I'm saying for themselves.

Less is more. I might ask the court clark what the protocol is for getting inside to watch a case. I'd say a lot of people will be asked to stay out because they'll want the crowd to look as big as possible. I would really like to see the evidence for myself.
