Get pet insurance, and then there is no need to whinge about vet costs because you get most of it back..... Oh thats right - pet insurance is a rip off too.

I have Snooza and Rogz beds. My dogs actually prefer the Rogz Spice Podz beds. They are dirt/water resistant and the dogs really snuggle into them. They are cooler to lie on, but they can snuggle in to get warm. They come in cool patterns and colours. http://www.rogz.com/home.htm

Hi guys - I have also posted this in Rescue My sister lives in Nanago, and there has been another god damn puppy farm raid in Kingaroy. According to my sister it was one of the worst Puppy Farm raids. She's been speaking to the RSPCA about it as it was in Wondai. They rescued 259 dogs, most of the bitches were pregnant so there are now approximately 500 dogs in total looking for either permanent placements or long term foster care as the case is going to court. Hi guys - has anyone heard of the Aibel Pet Dryer. They seem really cheap - but have pretty much the same specs as the oldfields. The only thing is they are not metal. Does this matter?? This would be my first dryer for a border collie. Thanks.

Guys - THIS IS WHEN BITSA COMES IN HANDY!!! Although they are not very good at proving what a breed IS... it is good at proving what a breed isnt..... If a Bitsa test came back that she was a cross breed eg. recognised a secondary breed.... she would be released as the pound could not prove she was a pure bred pitbull. SOMEONE....... do it.

This is really horrible, but a few years ago a cavalier in my mums street was stolen - he was going blind and could not physically get out of the yard - 6 foot fences, etc etc. They were notified the dog had been found dead (via microchip) and they were questioned by police as it appeared the dog had been used for "baiting" purposes in an illegal dog fighting ring. Imagine how those people felt.... that would be one of my worst fears....

I think it is the owners responsibility to provide everything else, eg. bedding, bowls, toys etc. (I normally have more stuff for the dogs than for me! haha)

Then the judge might ask u to do a triangle?? then u come back to ur place? Then if the judge points at u you are best? THen he will pick a reserve?? Then if u are best u come back in after with the baby puppy dogs?? Are u meant to shake the judges hand?? I have no idea? How do u know when to leave the ring? etc Can anyone tell me how it works? Yeah well, I got a doggy passport too that said Breed Make up American Staffordshire Terrier and a booklet of info on American staffys - saying I should do agility and play digging games - there is no way, he would just look at me like I was crazy! I was thinking of registering him with the council as an Am Staff X next year - and see if they come knocking! haha They might declare him dangerous, and I will have to have him muzzled in public....

Ok ok....... wait for it... He is 25% American Staffy!! hahaha The test came back with no Primary breeds indicated but the secondary breed was American staffy. The next on the list was Chihuahua and Great Dane! LOL

I would love to see what breed/s you guys think my little dog is. I got him as a rescue, and I have always called him a chihuahua but never really known, so I thought just for fun I would do the BITSA DNA test. If anyone gets close to what they said, I will post the results! He weighs 2.8kgs, can run all day with my border collie, very affectionate to people and other dogs, doesnt want to play with toys but loves treats, isnt scared of ANYTHING (tries to chase cows etc.) Guess away! Thanks guys.... this is a great help. I have to go shopping now! I have my first show on Australia day on the Gold Coast (actually handling other peoples dogs!) And I wont start showing my puppy until March, but I cant wait!!

Ok, thanks guys... Yes I am a girl.... hahaha probably should have said that!! So jeans arent the best? And it would be ok to wear a knee length skirt? So I will be showing a black and white border collie, so a coloured outfit would be better?
