I'm sorry to hear about poor Flynn My thoughts are with you. I know she is getting the best care from both of you! -
BP have you tried Slipery Elm Bark, for upset stomach? Slippery elm bark is used for any Gastro-Intestinal (GIT) problem or ulceration of any sort internally. It is very mucilaginous and will coat mucosal linings from the mouth through to anus giving any areas of inflammation and irritation a period of time to repair and rest. We recommend a 12 week course for serious problems, as this will allow the GIT lining to replace itself. Kiesha's meds might be striping the lining of her stomach

I too believe that Robert McDowell's herbals are GREAT. I've used the Osteosarcoma mix with Op recovery mix & believe it gave my boy a much more comfortable recovery from his leg amputation & 6mths after he was found clear of cancer (blood test) I also use Bone Healing/Maturity Mix on my growing pups My last 4 dogs hip X-Rays have scored 0:0 :D I'm happy to give info on my dogs health issues, Cancer or Immunity issues! -

OT, but Rottegems I just love your siggie, oh how I would love a couple of those beautiful Rotties - I swear they will be my next dog!! Yours just look so gorgeous!!! Thanks D+D, It was quite a fluke of a shot actually. The dogs were being a nuisance when I was trying to take a pic of one of them, so I put the nuisance ones in the back of the car

I get my marrow bones for $1.50 ea You could always drive up to Geraldton ;) Why don't you try to give your girl chuck bones instead, they probably won't be much cheaper but they will be easier on her digestion, no fat

I have a "one & only" as well & she was just the same but the dam did feed her & help with the discipline, so I can imagine yours being worst because you don't have any help I didn't do the roll over & don't like it but what works for me is copying mum & grap the muzzle & growl, don't let her down until she relaxes in your hand You have lots of work socialising her ahead of you My Chaya is 11wks old & very bonded with me now & won't go to bed until I do, she is always asleep at my feet Good luck!

I've used Marrow bones for 15yrs that I've had Rotts with no trouble I do get Chuck bones for my older fat dogs though

Which Halters/collars Are Best?
Rottgems replied to dee lee's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I bought two of them, a small and a medium and they both have the sherpa sleeve around the loops that go under the legs. By the time the Sporn harnesses arrived I had already trained the dog to walk nicely without pulling so I've never used either of the harnesses. Still sitting in the boxes. I also bought a 'Sensible' walking harness. Had it sent over from the USA and I have never used that either. I did put it on the dog to see if it works ...it does amazingly! However again the dog was trained to walk properly by the time the harness arrived here so I never used it apart from the dress rehearsal. I will put them in buy, sell and swap if I ever get my act together and rescue can have the proceeds. Had I known these products were going to take so long to arrive I wouldn't have ordered them...darn dog was trained by then. Hey CavNrott I need another Sporn Harness I have a lge one that I use for biking my male rottweiler & with the sherpa sleeve does a nice comfortable 3-4 klms ride for both of us I do need a medium size so I can walk my male & female together with out stress. If you want to sell me yours I'm very interested
