Hi All A PA System upgrade is the answer in part and also I am in favour of a scrolling sign. (They are not cheap) However with sponsor adverts on the day we could charge sponsors a small fee to advertise thus pay for the scrolling sign!Then again be careful not to promote a competitors products or serviecs when a show sponsor may well have supported a club. The PA system speakers are the issue and a trial of a new speaker should be investigated asap. The crackling, noisy present system is causing issue with the dogs and us! Sorry walls are extra. Not easy to answer the question as most available walls are suitable for 3 x 3 or 6 x 3. I purchased one unit for our dog club and will seek a price on walls from BCF or Oztrail web page. Remember the unit size is 2,4 x 4.5 m. Approx 8 x 16 feet.Not so good for shows really unless you go as a team. The unit is strong type and a great buy. Good luck

Hi Yorkpark here again. Sorry Compact pavillion size is 2.4 x 4.5m and is STURDY one. Obtaining sides is a hastle as they come 3 x 3 or 2.4 x 2.4. Still a ripper deal at $149 so i bought one for a club! Oztrail discontinue line so reducetion in the price. BFC are great folk to deal with no matter which store you but at in your city. How did dog showies ever live without these gazebos? Go get em

Hi All Just be aware the size of The Compact Pavilklion is 2.4 x 4.8 m. Not as easy as one thinks when you try to buy sides that are 3 x 3 DB

Our dogs just love accorns and eat them after crunching. Do accorns in small amounts cause any difficulty with dogs health? has anyone ever had sickness with dogs eating these nuts?

Well now time to stand up here for the good hubby! Compact Gazebos are not as strong as std type although they are a little longer and heavier. If you have not opened I hear Oztrail Deluxe Compact is now on the market probably stronger than previous compact gazebos. Hi Try BFC they have an excellent range. Plenty of local stores and they have an excellent web page.Although easier to handle for the ladies and fit into most car boots the quality of Compact deluxe is not as good as Oztrail Deluxe. keep the corners secured by guy ropes and STRONG pegs and that will help Enjoy DB

Hi I have a delux Model but never seen a compact delux. The compact units are very good for handling but not very strong in windy weather. Good luck DB

Today I attended the two shows at Lancefield with entries close to 1200 for the AM & PM shows. A little chilly but excellent shows. However I cannot escape mentioning the appalling toilet facilities in particular on the eastern side near Groups One & Two. Also the number of toilest for such a large entry was totally inadequate. The clubs must address this matter for future shows and should not expect paying exhibitors nor the public to contemplate such filthy conditions. Even some Porta loos would have been welcome and trust the club can arrange something for the two remaining show days.

Hi Everyone We wish to thank all those exhibitors who took the time to compliment us on all the hard work and organisation. We do try and yes we made some changes including a smaller G1 ring and did not enforce matting space. The chocolates were our "Freeby" for 2010. The judges have asked me to convey their thanks for the great sportsmanship and commented on the high quality of exhibits. SHOW UPDATE!! 3PM FRIDAY Hi Everyone Well The Park had a LOT of rain like many parts of Victoria on Wednesday & Thursday but all is fine the car parks are NOT under water now! The show gates open at 6.30am and a LOT of extra room is available indoors with two rings smaller than at many shows. Just wait till you see "The Treats" on offer to everyone for FREE! The sun was shining at The Park this afternoon. The committee thanks everyone for their entries and trust you are all winners! Cheers David B

Hi Everyone LKC committee are pleased to confirm our judges from Spain & Poland arrived and are in good shape. Today they added to our balance of trade with a shopping spree! I imagine the wonderful Lilydale comittee will probably be too busy to have someone standing in the carpark all day supervising parking :D Hi Everyone David here from Lillydale K C committee. We agree the parking is tight and disabled parking is an issue brought to the attention of DV CEO & President by LKC at the clubs meeting last Saturday.We have requested additional signage for disabled parking plus line marking of the sealed areas asap. We won't be supervising car parking as such but will assist with direction and parking to the maximum as close as possible to the show site.
