Hi all Sorry if this topic has been listed and dealt with before but im confused... We are adopting a 6mth old rescued Pit Bull cross boy and wish to get him obedience trained in a group so as to socialise him among other dogs etc. On phoning a few trainers in melb we were rudely told "Pit Bulls cannot be obedience trained by law" If this is true then it sucks(i shudder remembering the old cow we first called,ordered us to kill him ) Does anyone know where we can get our boy socialised and trained in a group where he will be welcome? We are in the outer eastern suburbs of melb.Any advice would be welcome Thanks....Scott edited to correct (he's a cross bred Pitty so according to my local ranger...safe)
