oh how exciting !!
-
Good idea, alot easier to have them taken in, then not to be able to wear them at all.
-
What about dealing with it via embarrassment as well.. get someone over the loud speaker that the person wearing (insert clothing) that let their dog (insert actual breed) please go and pick up the poo your dog left behind...(if you actually know their name all the better as far as I am concerned!) Im sure that will also help. Ive actually witnessed several people let their dogs toilet on the outskirts of the show area then place grass over it and walk away.... sometimes it is just left for all the world to see...

just remember they are pretty small sizing... i bought one and there is no way i will fit in it until i lose a little more weight
-
I love them... if I could get them in my size I would wear them.
-
haha I did that once and forgot my show shoes !! Never again ! I wear my show clothes to the show!

Thanks, that would be great to know your suggestions. I have Rockports which are great but have only ever found lace up shoes that give me the support in the soles that I require. And I wear runners that are professionally fitted and cost a lot. I don't wear runners all the time as I manage ok wearing regular shoes when I don't have to run in them . Only find I get sore when I am required to jog/run or if I'm walking a long way. Im with you Nynka.. I have heel spurs and wear black lace up Portlands (similar to Rockports but slightly cheaper). I wear these shoes pretty much 24/7, to work, training my dogs, shopping, and showing. I would love to wear those pretty little mary jane type shoes or Sketchers, but Im worried that I wont be able to walk the next day. But I do wear slacks anyway, so the shoes are ok... sometimes I would like to wear shorter pants for summer, but they dont look good with the shoes maybe if i dont wear socks LOL

Introducing...suthenskys Single N Luvn It
kelpiesrule replied to kelpiesrule's topic in General Dog Discussion
Update on Jasper..... Well, he is turning into everything I had hoped for. He is a stunning young dog with gorgeous temperment and movement. At 11 months old he is on 83 pts (after having over 2 months off over xmas) and has so far picked up 2 x Baby in Groups, 1 x Minor in Group and 5 x Puppy in Groups. He is consistently beating older dogs, including Multi Best in Group & Best in Show winners and Grand Champions. 2010 is shaping up to be a good year. -
and some pics of Jasper at 11mths.

My two young ones did very well on the weekend. Little Sirena won 1st place in Baby Sweepstakes from 32 entries !! It was tough competition and I was totally shocked when the judge called her out first. Jasper won Dog challenge, runnerup best of breed and Puppy in Group both days ! He is now on 83 pts and has picked up 5 Puppy in Groups so far this year. Some pics of Sirena... new ones coming soon.

A Question For Other Judges...
kelpiesrule replied to Fit for a King's topic in General Dog Discussion
If I was a judge I certainly would be bending down to see the movement better, especially on the smaller dogs... and as a competitor, I find it reassuring for a judge to do this, as to me, it shows they are really interested in looking at the dogs. Much better than judges that barely look at your dogs as you are running around the ring! -
It won't be out for a couple more months I will let you know when it is There is agility on the Saturday and Monday as well cool, thanks

Working Group for Perth Royal is the Sunday :D (So you can't really do Melbourne Royal first - probably coz I had thought about going to Melbourne this year too!) oooh maybe I could do Perth this year ! I could fly over saturday... and go home monday? is the Perth schedule out yet?
