Little Lani just had her first All Breeds shows on the weekend. She was an absolute gem and I am very proud of the way she performed. She picked up 3 x baby of breeds, 1 x Baby in group and placed 2nd and 3rd in the Baby Sweepstakes She won a few hearts, including one of the judges who seemed a little besotted with her who could blame him LOL

Beautiful!! Well a minor potential disaster- Franky has fractured her Canine (right off to the gum line). We had it removed, but now have to wait and see if there was any damage done by infection going through the pulp cavity..... Little miss didnt even go off food so I am not sure when it happened!! So I will be taking a slightly gummier puppy in the the ring next time I hope she will be ok !

More pics of my little Lani at 12 weeks... I had just taught her to free stand and first time gaiting on lead... so cute. The following weekend was her first show and she won her class !!! She was such a good baby. I love the look on her face when she is gaiting.. I think she was having fun? or that might have been just before she chucked a zoomy LOL

I got more leads yesterday LOL to match my show suits, lavendar & black and purple & brown.. they look awesome and I cant wait to use them on the weekend

I thought QLD knocked back the Neuter Champion ? I didnt know clubs in QLD were offereing Neuter classes and that they would award the champion through DQ ??

Watching people handle and being able to handle different dogs helps alot. But one of the glaring mistakes I find that even people who have been showing forever, is they dont do straight lines LOL. On an out and back or triangle, a judge wants to see the dog move in a straight line to judge the movement coming and going, they are not interested in YOUR movement. Please take your time to set your dog up (shorten your lead slightly if needed for more control) and move off nice and steady. Out and backs should not be done flat out. Practice makes perfect, but most of all, dont get too stressed about it all, have fun. It can take years to learn the finer arts of showing dogs to their best. And dont expect each of your dogs to be the same, every one of mine that I have shown has been different.

Used mine over the weekend as well and love them... Jasper now has the bolder purple and black lead, Phoenix has the gorgeous black, gold and purple lead and I have ordered a black, purple and lavendar lead for my new baby. Here are a couple of pics of Jasper, in his new lead, winning RUBOB on the weekend from a good lineup.

These are no thicker than paracord leads... I will try and take a pic over the weekend of the lead in my hand and on the dog..

But they had some really pretty ones you know! Red's tweeds etc. Your Millers sounds like it has nicer stock then ours I went past it today and I was not impressed with the boring looking drab jackets. Glad you like it, im on the hunt for 2 more people to give them to. What about someone in QLD Sway ???? And even though some people say it doesnt get cold up here....I DO ! I am already sleeping in flanny pj's and putting the electric blanket on the bed this weekend... all my friends think I am wierd AND I show alot LOL

mine is a really nice lead, i think I will get purple and black next.... trying to decide for my new baby too. But the choices are endless !

They are quite good, my dogs are pretty well behaved so there is really no pulling. They roll up nicely when you want to shorten your lead and are only about as think as the para leads. There is a little stretch but not too bad. Not like some plaited leads.

You can let your imagination run wild !!! LOL Or match every show suit you have

I got mine last weekend (Purple, Gold and Black) and I totally love it. It is the best quality plaiting I have seen.. I have ordered more !!!

No we bought the crate and pen side of C Crates in Jan. The previous owners now only do trailers and are called C Trailers. Oooh does this mean we will get decent quality trolleys again from C Crates???
