  2. Im still really really happy with him, he is such a sweet boy too ... sleeps on my bed at night hehe He is exactly what I was hoping to get from this mating ! Fingers crossed he keeps growing as nicely as he is.

  4. LOL nothing wrong with wanting another Kelpie ! His mother is back in whelp (due early december) to my black boy Shamus.
  5. Ok... time for new pics Jasper is now 6 and a half months old and after 2 weekends in Minor he has picked up 1 x 7pt challenge, 1 x 8pt Challenge, 2 x runnerup Challenges and 1 x Minor in Group ;) Here are some pics taken of the little guy on the weekend up at Maryborough.
  6. Phoenix is only 4 weeks in and is already dropping !!! Fingers crossed we have lots of healthy babies cooking in there :D
  7. Had 3 good matings with Phoenix and Shamus last week... Now to just sit back and wait !!

  9. I mated Phoenix and Shamus last night... so we might just scrape in the end of November for this litter !!! Fingers crossed she gives me more than one this time
  10. thanks guys, Im so proud of him, i think he is going to be a fun dog, he is close to starting agility trialling too !
  11. I entered my boy Shamus in his first PT yesterday. He passed easily and was given the encouragement award High in Test ! Unfortunately i didnt get any pics of him working, but here is some of him in training.
  12. I agree with Kavik... good working dogs have to know when to rest up and regain their energy. I also think the kelpie tends to pick up on the energy of their owners, if you are laid back, then your kelpie will generally be like that. Might be why everyone comments on how quiet my kelpies are they all fit in easily around my lifestyle. Has anyone else found this? I would be curious to know. I know there will be one or two dogs out there that will not adhere to this but it is an interesting thought.
  13. Thanks GayleK He is definately going through the leggy, ugly stage, but seems to be holding it all together well.
  14. He is not only good looking, but the sweetest boy, he loves his cuddles just like his mommy. Although he is getting a little big for my lap, when he is having cuddles he tucks his head under my chin and will sometimes talk away to me about his day
