yep, she's home, I posted some pics in the wei thread, but here they are again, not very good ones, mostly taken at night. Will take some more later. She didn't sleep very well last night, neither did we. We'll get there, she's missing her litter mates and her mum, poor little girl.

I tried to get my crate in the car, won't fit, its too big, by about 2 cm in height. Oh well, good thing I have an extra pair of hands to hold her or drive me. Will take one of the cats beds (that they don't use) and stick it on the floor. I do have cages that the cats use, but thinking they might be too small and she wouldnt like being confined in such a small space. I really need to buy a soft crate at some point now.

I'll put my hand up for GSP cuddles Fiona Well I went out to Erskine Park today, it was so hot!! I decided I had better start buying som equipment for Willow as she will be arriving tomorrow evening.... I bought her a show lead, its a light one, a choker type lead but not metal, fabric if you know what I mean. I also bought an armband thingy for numbers, some plush puppy shampoo and a little metal water bucket that you can hook onto the crate, that will be for home use though as I plan to buy a soft crate at some point for showing. poocow, I did see a yellow gazebo there, and wondered if it was yours, I chickened out in asking though

Angel: hmmm, but was your two men tent 30 years old.... lol, I've had mine since I was a kid! Probably hasn't been put up for 20 years! Oh, and I joined dogsnsw on Friday, online, I decided to pay the extra $$ to have it done quickly... my card and gazette arrived today!!! I couldn't believe it.

I did that at castle hill last year, went to watch, didn't realise until much later that the EV means evening show!!!! I'm thinking about coming down to Erskine Park tomorrow for a bit of a look... Are there any LH Wei's entered do you know?

Yeah, mine was second hand, but never used, they bought it new off ebay but when it arrived they realised it was too big for their car or something. I bleached it anyway.

aww how exciting i love the name willow Thanks, I think the name suits her, we went and bought some puppy stuff today, thank god I bought a crate off ebay last year as I knew this year we would be atleast looking for a puppy soon. Still need to buy a few other things.

Well guys, I met my little girl today, gave her some big cuddles... she is wonderfully outgoing, very inquisitive and I think she is going to be a terror lol. So, she'll be definately coming here on Thursday, I pick her up at 10am. For those that haven't stalked, lol. I am getting a LH Weimaraner.

I do know the feeling of waiting for a puppy, I waited for Phoenix for a good 6 months. No, its not a golden. Her name is Willow, well it will be on Thursday. Its a LH Weimaraner. She will be my first show dog.

Can I join in too.... I met my little girl today for the first time today I only knew on Friday that I would be getting her, picking her up on Thursday... its happened very quickly, and I wasn't expecting one so soon!!!

I used to live in Bathurst. If my parents were still there I'm sure they would of let you stay with them, but they moved last year. One of my mums friends owns a B&B, or atleast they did. Not sure if they would allow dogs though, probably wouldn't allow them inside either. What sort of dogs, a field and what? ETA: Just called mum, and found the name of the place. They have a website. They do allow dogs according to the website.... not sure if its inside though, they have a separate garden unit so I think they would only be allowed in that unit. http://www.winter-rose.com.au/

Congrats Erin, she is just gorgeous. I love the tan and whites ;) We were looking at a beagle at one stage, but decided we should stick with gundogs rather than go totally different and get a hound.
