I teach my dog sto pay attention to me at most times, by say when im walking ill yell out a command with a hand signal, they will never knwo when it is going to happen, but once they do the comman di make a huge big deal and they can go off and do what ever it is they want to do, also i dont do unnecessary talking, i only talk when its needed.

I train the drop by the usual methods of lowering the hand with food to the ground, once dog is on the ground i throw food in between the front legs, so in order to get food the dog must be on the ground, they orient themselves to the ground cause that is where the food is, not in my hand. Simple. You should be able to stand straight up once the dog realise the food is on the ground.

I used to be a member there, just turn up one night, dont wait for them to contact you. Also my son was attacked by an instructors dog that was teethered on the walk way there, hopefully this is not done anymore, justbe careful of the teethered dogs not all of them are nice.

My old dog was epileptic, it sounds horrible, but you learn to just sit with them and support them and it doesnt faze you after a while. My boy used to have fits lasting 3 mins and would sleep all day after, i know one was coming on because his character would change for about 2 weeks before. Oh my OH is epileptic too, so maybe that is why i am so blazee (sp) about it.

MSF, how long have are your trainign sessions particularly with heeling? My pei can only do about 2 mins of heeling and that is broken up with other exercises in the middle of heeling. Same as with the agility stop before she takes off, so stop before she loses focus, dont let her make the mistake.

I treid them with science diet tins they wont touch it, one of them is extremely thin, th eother is fine, they are both two having had 4 litters, the poor things, ill try them with necks and some vegies, ill get some in town in a min when i go in.

I have 2 chihuahuas here rescued from a puppy farm, and they dont eat the dry food soake dor unsoaked, only the meat, which is chicken mince. Now both have extremely hard pooh's they even squeak when doing them and they immediately crumble once out, i just cant think what to give to soften it for them.

Has she ever tracked for you at the end of the track with someone else handling her? That is how i got my boys motivation up, and also dont feed her dinner one night and make her track the next day for it, if she doesnt track with intensity leave it another day, this will make her work for her dinner. Dont feed her until she tracks correctly.

Yeah i think she will go to the vets tomorrow.
