She was perfectly healthy before the immunisation.
Then we took her to our reg vet, I explained to them my concerns as we already lost a puppy to a vaccination years ago.
They said its the same dose for all puppies of this age.
I trusted what they said.
They gave her the needle and then the kennle cough drops which seemed to almost drown her there was alot of it.
Then she snorted and snuffled a bit as she didnt like it.
Then the next day she started making a snuffly sound a few times I rang the vet they said reverse sneezing.
I researched it and I wasnt happy with that as they said not to worry about it but i didnt feel like it was that.
We took her in they said she was very very crackly in her uppper respiratory system and her nose was runny and so were her eyes. The vet gave her an antibiotic shot and said to bring her back the next day.
She was more lively the next day but still sneezing and snorting we took her back they have put her on 5 days of antibiotics and said-- Prob shoudnt immunize again she has had a reaction which has affected her upper respiratry system they said if we want we can look at a c3 and a shot of antihistamine at the same time to hopefully stop the reaction. A bit confusing for me and she is still sneezing and snuffling even wth the antbiotics.
I was told by the vet that some people dont understand that it is the same dose to all puppies regardless of breed at the same ages. They said the only animal they change and measure doeses for is ferrets.
It does not make sense to me AT ALL!
