She had a lump removed (cancer) on her leg and also a couple of other bits taken off abdomen. I fasted her from 7pm Thursday till the op on Friday The vets fed her on Saturday and said she did a poo about 2pm - and now nothing since then- although I have fed her 2 small meals and a few treats. She has a morphine patch on.

Before I phone the vet, can anyone with experience please help. My foxy had an op on Friday morning and we got her home yesterday, Saturday, at 3pm. She cant walk properly so I have been carrying her outside to toilet. Its now Sunday 6pm and she still hasnt done a 'poo' is this normal? is there anything edible I can give her to help? would appreciate any comments thanks

sorry to hear that rmc ... thanks JulesLuvsCavs - I think anyone reading this topic who has had this happen would be urging everyone to get any lump checked... I was so sure the vet was going to say it was nothing, just a cyst what a shock...

My gorgeous little foxy has a lump - about the size of a small pea - on the inside of her back leg. The vet just phoned my partner with the test results so I'm not sure if he got the terminology correct but he says he was told it was a single cell spiral carcinoma? Has anyone had experience of this. We have to take our girl in for an xray to see if its spread to her internal organs. I will do more research just wondered if any one else has experience of this. I'm devastated.

I feed my foxy mostly raw but thought I would try orijen as a stand-by. No grains sounded good as she has chronic skin problems. She absolutely stinks on it!! I can only give her say 15 kibbles or the stench is disgusting.... and the soft poos - yuck!! She doesnt smell at all on barf I will use it up as treats only but wouldnt buy it again
