Oh my ;) Ive been thinking about Page and Jet since the original post when she first got Pete/Jet. My heart goes out to all involved with this beautiful little girl.

My mum and i own the grooming salon. I have reported it to the local ranger and she is going to check it up for us to wether it has been to the vet's she said that there isn't much we can do, only to advise the owner. I went into such a panic over seeing this dog as maybe what it has would be contagious, i had a shower at a friends place and threw away my clothing that it came in contact with as i have 6 x 4 week old babies at home and don't want anything to happen to them.

Had a little dog in the grooming shop today it was a poodle x. Lovely little dog friendly and quiet. Well the poor thing had puss coming out of his eye's, nose and mouth its body felt so hot. You could see that this dog was so sick and had a hard job breathing as the puss was blocking it's nasal passages. The smell from this dog was revolting that i threw up. Rang and told the owners that it needed to go to the vet's immediatly as it was getting worse with it's breathing. Don't know if they are going to take it or not.

shih tzu's are a great little dog for townhouses, they are easy to train and dont make much noise. they are more of your lap dog and 20 minutes of exercise a day would suit them.

Ive got a litter of 6 shih tzu's they are 4 weeks old and i am having to bath them frequently as they lay in there food, milk, poo and wee. Being Shih tzu's their hair is getting quite long, some of the poo is sticking around there bum's and ive noticed a few little red marks in that area. The mum use to clean house but has now stopped. Im trying to keep them as clean as possible but was wondering if anyone has any tip's to avoid the poo from sticking to their bottoms. They dont have diaorea but are not firm either. They were started on food and puppy milk about 4 day's ago. they get feed 4 time aday with advance puppy dry (softend) and a bit of chicken mince in it. Any suggestions would be great.

instead of salmon try sardines they have a much higher omega content

Time out. put him away from you in his crate or outside. remove him as soon as he nips.

Ive got babie pup's that were 4 weeks old yesterday and already they have had 3 baths. They lay in there food and wee's and poo's, they smell so bad. You can bath a dog how ever much you like but because they have a different ph level to humans you shouldnt use human shampoo. Bath away :rolleyes:

Shih tzu are a wonderful breed and give so much joy. I own 2 and have a litter of puppies that are 4 weeks old. As previously posted he has been with a group of other puppies and doesnt have to fight over food. They are only a small dog and a little bit fills them up when they are young. It also could be the food if he's not use to that kind of food.

i would take these dogs straight to the vet. New addition in the house and from the pound my thoughts would be parvo. Get them checked out straight away.

you should try having a bitch that get's excited about you all 19kg's of her.

My shih tzu boy didnt eat for 5 day's . i gave him mince, necks, wings i even tried tin food and he still wouldnt eat. Took him to the vets and he was pyning for dharma who is normally with him. Bought a cooked chook from safeway and he ate half of it as long as dharma was near his crate he will eat.. Problem solved

it's like time out for her. being put outside with no one. I agree with tommy 15 play with her lots give her lots of toys.
