Then you get a bitch who always gets Bitch CC over 5+ bitches at a time but can't get RUBOB - this type has been missing out in the point score for years. I don't think there will ever be a true or fair point score that we will all agree on. I think all would agree with you on this.
-
I did not receive a breed break down with my numbers either, they were posted on ozshow - I wish more clubs would do it.
-
I have edited your prefix, we had it listed but with no breed assigned to it.

You have a point, I assumed just breed points as it's called Breed Challenge Competition. ETA I agree if the group points are added it has taken a step backwards.
-
I have placed two orders, just thinking if I need a third - I really struggle to order and most of what i like can be purchased here anyway for a similar cost.
-
No, CC points only for the Breed which has been renamed Breed Challenge Competition
-
I picked most of mine based on looks as chances are I won't own one.

Mine arrived today.

I like the fact it will be based on challenge points for BOB and that it is capped at 40 shows/results (less would have been better, but hey it's a start) So if a dog now wins BOB and there is no other entries they will be entitled to 6 points compared with 1 under the old system? Yes No idea That what will be happening now... Beat 2 dogs, you get 8 points Beat no other dogs, you get 6 points As apposed to the old way where 10 could have be entered and you are the only one who showed, Your CC says 6 points, yet the DOL point score would have said 10.
-
I agree with you, however was are talking about two different things. Marie is on day 63 from a progesterone of 2, The vet stated she could feel her cervix was dilated, The whole point of this discussion is you can not feel the canine cervix with a finger.
-
-
She still couldn't have reached the cervix, have you seen the length of an AI tube? An internal on a Fauve not in season, nor in active labour im surprised a) that she did it, b) she allowed c) you allowed it.
-
Why not just leave it as Challenge - as you don't get extra points for RUBOB? I can see people submitting RUBOB even if they got no CC points.
-
How did the vet check that the cervix was dilated, as even on a smaller bitch (Frenchie as an example) the cervix is more then a fingers length from the opening.

I like the fact it will be based on challenge points for BOB and that it is capped at 40 shows/results (less would have been better, but hey it's a start) yes it's a good start .... I emailed a couple of questions to clarify a couple of the things on the Breed Challenge. It mentions; Runner Up Best Of Breed - what if they were not a CC winner ? Where does it say Runner Up Best Of Breed? CC winners only as it says - Breed Challenge Competition - Previously known as Best of Breed competition. in the section; •The following results are eligible. ◦Best in Show (All Breeds or Specialty) ◦Runner Up in Show (All Breeds or Specialty) ◦Best In Group ◦Runner Up in Group ◦Best Of Breed ◦Runner Up Best of Breed ◦Dog Challenge ◦Bitch Challenge Arhh I see, I wonder if it's a cut and paste from the 2011 rules? I'm sure troy will be along soon to answer the questions.
-
I wonder if the heat policy % is still included?
