I should also add, if they don't trust you to deliver the papers, then I feel the relationship is doomed. It needs to work on mutual respect, understanding and trust. They need to understand why the delay in papers and they need to trust you will deliver them, just as you need to trust they will look after your puppy and keep you informed of certain maters.

Mine are fine, they are told that I pick my puppy at 8-10 weeks, it is at that time the paper work goes in and it may not be back in time when the puppies goes to it's new home, however it will be in their hands no later then 7 days after the puppy has left me. They are also not told which puppy is theirs until I make my pick either - they may know they will get one, just not which one.

As of 1 Jan 2012 - pups must be mirco chipped and the micro number must be placed on the registration form. How long it takes to come back depends on a few things - do you have an express service that you can use, usually you pay extra for it. I dare say there will be a small back log due to the Christmas break. I send mine in once I have made my pic so I know who goes on what register and pay for the express service.

Really? I would of thought seeing the child is sticking his hand through the fence, and therefore onto the OP's property, OP wouldn't be liable. But that's just based on my opinion, not on any legal knowledge . OP, can you report the dog for being off lead and for wandering the streets? So by that logic the owner wouldn't be liable in the case of the hunting dogs which killed the little girl when she wandered onto their property? If you jump my fence and my dog bites you - in my eyes that is your fault. When it comes to kids who don't know any better sticking hands through the fence - I would remove the dog.

My second order arrived yesterday - came to the correct address even thou the 'your parcel has been shipped address' was wrong.

I wish there was some constancy with approving prefixes - they say no common names, places, surnames etc. I see plenty of newly approved prefixes that are all of the above, yet some pass and others do not.

I have edited it for you. Vic&NSW gazettes have a list of newly approved prefixes and they are entered in the database each month. That why many will show up with no breed assigned to them. I think all States should publish the newly approved prefixes, how else can you object if you don't know what they are?? Oh how I wish! I have asked for a list and they won't supply one.
