I think you should contact Dogs Vic and put in a tender then, as that is very cheap. I imagine there is a fair bit more that would be involved in the cost labour, permits, digging, new power boxes etc If it was that cheap I imagine that all the local ovals would have them.

I think it's recommended that if a storm is forecast and you're going to be out for the day to put it on the dog before you leave? Would not work in Melbourne, 30 during the day and pouring rain and freezing by 5pm.

Vet just to be safe and put your mind at ease.
