No one can guarantee a puppy, what if the bitch didn't conceive or only had 1 puppy, what then? Oh come on, a breeder should not be blamed for running on extra puppies on, If they sold your friends puppy to someone else yeah I would be upset, but a breeder should breed for themselves first. Freight is cheap, look outside the box.

In your eyes, perhaps not the breeders?? I would rather speak to the potential owners then a friend. I make no excuse for being hard to deal with when people enquire about a puppy, in fact Im very hard to get a puppy from and I tell people this upfront. I want people to jump through hoops, I also expect my puppy people to want me to jump through hoops for them when it's needed.

Each breed, just like each puppies mouth will set at different times. It maybe good at 6 weeks, but be crap by 8 or could be good at 6 months and crap by 9.

I'm curious to know how a judge is able to, for example, tell how healthy a dog in early stage renal failure is given a dog in this condition lose around 80% of its kidney function before any symptoms show. Looking forward to your answer. The same way a vet would I imagine, they could not unless other symptoms presented.

Arh yes, to soak not to soak, to raise not to raise, dry, raw the list is endless. To date there is no 100% guarantee on what causes it, however we can all speculate. We can even feed and raise two litter siblings the same and one may bloat and the other not. I feed raised, unsoaked but with some water in the bowls with meals. I also have a bloat kit for home and for away, plus the vets number on speed dial. The key is to know the signs and act early.

Easier to heat then cool. Heat laps take the chill out of the air, The pups breathe in the warm air from the heat lamp. Heat mats warm a puppy put not the air they breathe.

There are "breeders" and then there are Breeders, just like there is "owners" and then there are owners. What you are seeing is not typical, however for it to be in such a concentrated area is a concern.
