  1. I received this last night via email.
  2. Go to Bunnings and look in the bathroom section, there is many hanging baskets / over the door baskets etc I bought a basket designed for hanging on the front of a pushbike.
  3. group 7 BIG - Keeshond RUBIG - Shar pei Minor - TT group 1 BIG - Bichon RUBIG - Pug Baby - Pug
  4. It's obviously not hunger as he vomits even if he has more necks at 9pm. My guess is it's far to many bones which he can't digest and vomits them back up. I have a dog who does the same.
  5. What does the vomit contain??
  6. I prefer Dremmel, however I just bought some new Resco nail clippers and they are fabulous!
  7. I don't even know If I am entered as I have no numbers back, have tried calling no answer and the answering machine is full I am entered.
  8. I have emailed to ask for you as there is nothing about it on the container.
  9. I had not heard that Fuzzydog. The hair cycle is 22 days If it is not doing your dog good; why would you finish off using it?
  10. Many breeds bloat - Dane, Wolfhounds, Dachshunds, Bulldogs, Pointer, GSD, Akita, Greyhound, Cross Breeds this list is endless. Know your dog, know the signs, and know the details or your nearest vet.
  11. I don't believe you can make that sweeping statement.
  12. I had never heard of this procedure until an Akita Facebook group. It seems it's becoming quite common for Akita owners (and I presume many other breeds where bloat may be more of a risk) to get the dogs stomach tacked while already under anesthetic for desexing. I thought this was really interesting and will look into it next time I get a dog. It is called a gastropexy - Dogs can still bloat, but not torsion. The tacking can also come undone over time.
  13. just to be clear. Are you saying if there has never been a family member who bloated then your dog will never bloat? How far back do you go in the pedigree? I am saying, if the dog does not have the genetic propensity to bloat then the dog will not bloat. And yet others refute the suggestion. None of these theories has been scientifically proven.
  14. I have donated a Hamper from Whelping Supplies, make sure you buy raffle tickets !!
  15. I don't restrict water (take it away), however I do tell them to stop if they keep going and going. I do carry an emergency bloat kit with me in the van and one for home - just in case. But I would rather drive to the vets then do it myself.
  16. Thank you, my dog was 20 months old.
  17. By prize I mean food, toys, vouchers, appliances; anything other then the pretty ribbon. I don't have a problem with it but the person I spoke to today said no you should keep them all - so a poll begins...
  18. I feed all mine raised for comfort.
  19. Sadly there is not set rules when it comes to bloat, what works for one doesn't always for another. Some say it happens when you feed dry food, raised feeder, running after eating.. Others say it's because a dog stresses or is nervy or had a mating the list is endless. The key is to know your dog, know the signs, and know where your nearest vet is. Sadly I lost a dog to bloat 2 weeks ago
  20. This dog has the same sire http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=56989

  22. Bis line up Bichon, Stafford, Golden, Whippet, Sheltie, Bullmastiff, Dali BIS - Dali RUBIS - Bichon Group 7 puppy - Dane Group 4 inter - Fauve
