I work from home so the dogs are inside with aircon, or I am going outside telling them to get inside :laugh: Just remember for those dogs locked inside with the aircon on, power failure can an often does when it gets very hot. I was once told to hook up an answering machine, and call home during the day if the power is on the answering machine will kick in, if it's not you know there is a power failure !

If the puppy people were in contact with the breeders and if the breeder thought the dog was good enough to be shown surely the breeder would mention it to the puppy person? Not all puppy people want to show, so maybe they have been told but don't care for it?

Why didn't you just ask her to move her dogs? Because she was talking the receptionist, and she had mentioned she needed to move her dogs, but the lady thought just picking up the lead was enough.

Not to mention those who have no idea what their dog is up to whilst paying. Last night a middle aged lady was standing on the lead of her two medium/large breed dogs whilst she paid. The dogs were going in opposite directions and I had to walk past them to go into the consult room, I stopped and waited, and waited some more. She finally realised, picked up the lead but did not pull the dogs in closer to her, so I waited some more until she finally shortened the leads.

I don't have a problem with Neuter classes; however I see very few new people showing, there tends to be titled dogs being shown by experienced owner/handler/breeders. I thought it was bought in to encourage newbies to show, I don't see that happening.

No mater what the configuration of the waiting room is, if it is populated by idiots, it is never going to be good enough/safe.

I don't think there should be resident pets in the waiting room at all.

The numpties I saw were breeders with bitches in season for prog tests etc - they were numpties alright ! At what I would say is one of the premier breeder vets in Vic.

They seem to be populated by idiots with no idea on dog control ! I am sick of going to vets and having people.... Block the doorway Having their dogs at the end of the lead trying to approach any dog that walks in the door Letting their child drag the dog around the waiting room Approaching your dogs without asking No your sick dog can not play with mine I wait outside for my appointment BUT; you then have to walk past these people who have no idea to get to the consult rooms.

Mistakes in Catalogues happen, it's no big deal. I am surprised more are not made with the amount of work show secretaries/catalogers have to do, it's a big job. I loved these three shows, the fact everyone was outside was a huge plus for me - especially the toys being outside.
