Can you not do what we do to human babies. Bottle feed Warm water? and massage the tummy round in a 9 shape. Belly button up, around and toward the privates. Opps can't spell

Whilst im not experianced with pups, i think your expecting to much from her. A bit like expecting a new born baby to crawl. IMO You haven't even had her a week, she is only 8-9 weeks old. And your doing far to much to quick, let her settle in, get over missing her mum and siblings.

Maybe she is a puppy, and needs to adust. Why the rush?

Got A Letter Of Complaint From Local Council
SwaY replied to kaywoman68's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Are they barking at all the other dogs in the area getting woken up at that hour of the morning? I mean many people get up around that time to go to work, so woule let there won dogs out etc. Or the birds wake up and they interest them etc? -
Our pup is now 12 weeks old. 1st vaccination at 6 weeks. 2nd 10 weeks, we took her to a local kennel club at 12 weeks as 99% of dogs would be vaccinated as you have to show proof to join. 3rd due at 16 weeks, 2 weeks after that i will take her for short walks out the front etc. edited for spelling

Glad he is ok, sure is a scary thing.

It puzzles me too lol. Stones have no taste, they can't be chewed and they're rough and coarse on their gums. What on earth are the little rascals thinking? Perhaps it's a sign they need something to chew on or (in my case) my 3 month old is about to start teething? Sway is 12 weeks today, she doesn't eat the stones at home. But will when out. ;)
-
My pup has started to do it, but she only does when she is out. I wonder if the stones have a taste to them? Perhaps someone has dropped something on it and she can smell it, therefor being young she has no idea it's not edible.

Barking Problem With A Difference
SwaY replied to gsdog2's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I am thinking that I am the only person on this thread who did. If the cat wasn't out of it's bounds/grounds/yard which is illegal it wouldn't make them madder or more distressed. Simple fact contain your cat on your property and then if the dogs continue to bark then you have another problem. The neighbour is blaming it on a stray. The stay was there own cat, now the neighbours need to contain it. What does a sick daughter have to do with the cat being on someone elses land? What should gsdog2 find out more about autism and aspergers, when it has nothing to do with a cat being on her land? Im sorry there daughter is sick, but that is no excuse to let a cat roam around on to SOMEONE elses property and upset other animals. If the cat was the key elliment in keeping there duaghter happy etc, they shoudl want to look after it and make sure it's safe. :D -
Barking Problem With A Difference

Trapping the cat proved a point! and a bloody good one at that! :D It wasn't a stay as the neighbour suggested, it was infact there OWN cat!! Cats are ment to stay in there own yard, if this cat was in it's yard the dogs wouldn't bark at it. Simple really And yes i have 2 cats -

I spoke to Brett about this today, he said if the vet gives her (Sway) the ok, then she can come. I told him she has had 2 vaccinations and she is 10weeks old. Brett said it's more to cover themselfs as they can't guarantee what comes in and out of KCC park. -
wow Sas what a great result!! It's on my shopping list for tomorrow.
