some dogs wear them out on concrete so never need to have them cut or filed etc. Others never see concrete and need to. Like humans they all grow differently.

I bought a dremel to use on Sway, cordless rechargable one, so no batteries. Sway doesn't care, it came with 40+ attchments and cost around $40

I found the same with the only lesson i did. The instructor was a moron, told me to drag! my dog to make her do what i wanted. He expected all dogs to be able to do they above you mentioned. She was 12 weeks. We learnt them at home. he would point to other classes higher up then the beginner which we were in, saying your dog should be doing that. I found him rude, arrogant and just an overall crap teacher. There my views others may think differently. We go to socialise but not join in the classes.

Im not expect let that be said first Sway wouldn't make eye contact with me, wouldn't look abover waist height. I was told to do the following Hold the bait near my face so she looked for it. Then click and treat, slowly my hand went around behind my back, (over several click and treats) so she never knew where it was coming from. She would look again, click and treat and hold it a little longer as time goes on. Now she looks for her next command so to speak. ETA I have tried heeps of different foods/treats/bait for Sway, no real interest. Or if she did would last that day, and would change her mind the next. If i could bottle up the cuddles and kisses she would be happy. She works for them the best. Im trying out no treats, but still keep the bait bag as she looks towards it at times, and placing my hand own the bag and coming out with my own hand and giving her an ear ruffle :D She likes it So the treat is there it's just me

Water restrictions!!! save the water and put her in a paddle pool ETA creek water or not, that water will run out one day.

I have a Great Dane who does this, and gee it makes a hell of a mess Yes I agree and also scary to think in a 40 degree day she may of dug all the water out. Have put other containers around but she does the same to all of them Maybe she would like a clam shell paddle pool, she may use that instead of her bowls?

I have seen many people use weird and wonderful things with there dogs. What ever works best for the both of you. Ball clip thingy Many other places sell them aswell. Sway has become a little more treat driven, but she would rather a cuddle instead.

Sway didn't like treats but now she does. We went through snags, fresh ham, dry food, kat food, bbq chicken. Not keen at all. But now we have found Her fav is the 4 legs Doggy Cool Munchies $2.49 at Coles. I use a bait bag here You can also get balls that clip onto you pants.

Is there really a difference between feeding from a raised bowl as opposed to not? I have been thinking about this for some time. Would appreciate any advice. Some Dane owners swear by raised feeders, some don't. If you search bloatand or raised feeders it will come up in there. I'd search for you but i always stuff it

If you can't find any let me know. I have 2, there to small for Sway. I have set them up but never used them, they went back in the bags after that. Will sell them for the same price as Bunnings.
