NSW has had an age limit for a while now, has Vic ever had one? NSW also only had it for some breeds and not all. -
Hope the water at KCC dries up in time and that everyone has a great time.

I also think it should be a Australia wide rule and not just Vic. It needs to be uniformed. -

Sun Group 7 BIG - Boston RUBIG - Dane For a show that always has neuters there was only 5 entered, I can see why clubs won't support it when exhibitors don't. -

For Those That Have Used The Suprelorin Implant
SwaY replied to OSoSwift's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Made my dog FAT!!! I have used it, and successfully collected him afterwards. 6 month implant, lasted 12 months. Didn't change his temp as he is laid back enough. He put on around 8 kilos. Have heard of people using it for prostate problems, if it's that serious I would rather just desex. -
Not a good number for a prestigious showCC Was quite a few scratchings around the place due to the poor weather this morning. The weather cleared up in time for the start of the show, the sun even came out!

Insert New Regulation 3.3.9 3.3.9 Pregnant Bitches
SwaY replied to SwaY's topic in General Dog Discussion
Why? I see no difference between a pregnant bitch as I do a pregnant woman in terms of risk and infection. Pregnant woman use public toilets and go out into public all the time - Schools/Shops/Hospital. -

Strange, I never thought it was "petty" to suggest that those who seek to honour the stars of yesteryear might do so without sending some from the ring without ribbon or recognition. But there you go. Maybe you don't have any old dogs, I don't know. Maybe you rehome yours as soon as they've outlived their ribbon winning days, I don't know. Some people seem pretty hard hearted when it comes to older dogs. You may be one of them, you may not. But to me, it just seems petty not to think veterans are special and to give them a round of applause. There wasn't a suggestion in the OP that ribbons were what the person/people concerned were after, simply a recognition of their old dogs so yes, it was petty. Did people applaud you and your dog when you ran him/her around for Veterans Sheridan? I for one love the Veteran classes.
