I find it hard to believe that you are coming up with nothing but rubbish, after all you have only contacted or attempted to contact only 5 of the 47 listed on DOL. http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/breede...tan-mastiff.asp
-
I think it's ok to list Open show wins in your DOL profile or website providing you say it was an open show. I don't like it when people list there DOL profile title as - BIS Ch Prefix Dogs Name Then you do some digging and find out it was an Open show. I don't think Vic has an All Breeds Open Show at all? They do have some for groups or breeds but not that many from what I have seen.

And to that panadol, boxes of tissues, phone calls and research time. Yes all little minor things but gee that add. I have spent over 200 hours in the last 12months researching for my next litter.

I have two systems set up. I pay my vet in advance a little here and there, so im in credit. I also have an ING automatic savings account set up, that way funds are put away for emergencies.
-
I think it's wrong to remove the titles, a dog gained them and was awarded them.
-
I think it is misleading.

Agreed! I had vets tell my puppy buyers to put Dane babies on puppy food, and to give calcium.
-
Whilst i doubt it can be enforced, like everything if they say no I won't feed that - The breeder says no I won't sell you one. Like every puppy sale you are hoping your research of the puppy buyers is going to last the life time of the puppy, and everything they told you is going to be followed through.
-
I don't find it strange at all. Take my breed if you feed them a diet to high in protein which most puppy foods are, you end up with a badly knuckled over puppy that can lead to permanent growth issues if it's not corrected quickly. I know many breeders who won't sell you a puppy if you don't feed the diet they specified - Im one of them. Most breeders know their lines and what works best for them diet and exercise wise.

I have an email on my old PC from DOGS VIC CEO Elizabeth White telling me it is ok to show a dog with the implant. As there is no ANKC or State regulation on this. It was put on the agenda for the 2009 AGM, nothing ever came of it. Some dogs testicles shrink others do not, that would be up to the judge on the day. With that said some dogs have big ones others small and that's without an implant. I found my dog put on a lot of weight whilst on it, around 8kg. His testicles shrunk, but not a huge amount, They did go very soft like marshmellows thou. He has been successfully collected since, 6month implant took 12 months to wear off.

Dogs Victoria Wanting To Take More Decisions From Breeders.
SwaY replied to Steve's topic in Breeders Community
So the previous Dogs Vic is age related, this new one would be breed specific.
