The voices in my head tell me im never alone.

I have several pieces of Rubber Back Vet Bed, I don't like it. Maybe im doing something wrong? The pee sits on top and does not drain through, They have all been washed 20+ times and every piece has the same problem. The rubber is peeling and gets mushed into the plush pile and you have to pull it all off by hand, reminds me of grated cheese! I have washed some pieces on cold wash, others on warm - same problem. These pieces are only 4 weeks old. Is it just more or do others have the same problem? I have previously used 100% woolen carpet and love it! Any liquid drains straight through to the paper underneath. Down side is you have to gurney it clean and can take a while to dry.

I used carpet in my last litter - same time of year. I used vet bed this time, I found it to be hotter.

I had a puppy who would cry after feeding, turns out she would eat to much causing pressure on her diaphragm. If I held her head up and bum down she would stop crying, If I laid her down she would cry. To confirm this I reverse tube feed her, I would insert the tube and remove some milk from her stomach. No more crying puppy.

In my case, Mine have to send me a copy of the vets steralisation paper work which must have the microchip number on it. 5 of the 8 were all desexed (also Gastroplexy) at my vet, several drove 2+ hours to go there. They are also refunded $250 of there purchase price. I have also seen all the puppies for a family reunion at 12 months, and I receive emails from my puppy people every week.

And people ask me what puppy I like in my litter, puppies what do you mean there are puppies! -
I went to a lecture at KCC Park earlier this year run by the company who sells the 'Bitsa test' They said to keep in mind that what you see is not what the dog is made up of. You also need to look at temperament, traits, habits, skills, quirks etc as that is what the dog is more likely to be then what the dog looks like on the outside. With that said, i think it's a crock of shite my self.

Why not, it's just a power form of a styptic pencil. Condy's Crystals works as well, have used that on my self before.

I had one of those in this litter. Lucky for me on was on the phone at the time to my mentor and she calmed me down and talked me through it. Weird part we had already discussed this at various stages, I knew what to do but i just could not seperate the emotion and do it. It's when the blood sugar levels get low and the puppy gets cold and goes stiff (As if it was dead). It can happen in seconds! I had the puppy in my hand, and it was all good, I put it down and it went stiff like it was stretching and it was cold to touch. You can rub sandoz/Karo syrup/glucose in to the gums and help to bring the puppy around.

A group 1 story for you. I was walking my 5.5yr old Great Dane near Group 1, I just walked into the square of gazebos set up around the ring, when a Griffon leapt off the top of a 4 birth trolley to try and bite my Great Dane on the back of his hocks!! Then the nasty lady started to abuse me because my dog tried to bite her dog and that big dogs should not be near Group 1. In the mean time she and others are trying to get her dog to come back to her. I abused her right back, whilst my dog just stood there going WTF.

There isn't an official one by the ANKC or State canine councils. There is a site I have done thou with much help from fellow DOLers. Funnily enough it's called Prefix Search http://www.PrefixSearch.com.au

What bullshit that was! I start to set up at 6.30am, many had gotten there before me and had already set up. In the mean time it's raining on and off, many others set up. At 7.30am they make an announcement that the show will be moved in doors!! So then those who had already set up, had to rush to get an inside spot as well as pack up all there wet items and re-set up again.
