That would be funny to see, person seen in car section sniffing the car mat But I get what you mean Why Um yes I did smell it. I also brushed it against my cheek to see what it felt like. No smell, nice and soft - reminded me of felt. ETA - There is no rubber on the mat, just like normal carpet a plush front and a flat back.

You will received mixed views on this I think. A pregnant woman doesn't stay home and women who have periods swim, well so the ads on TV say.

Whilst walking around Kmart I came across this floor/boot mat and thought it might be ok for whelping boxes. It measures 180 x 90cm, It is very lightweight and flexible $25 in the Auto section I haven't tried it but thought I would let others know as it maybe worth a look.

Who knows when there is alcohol? A new advertising angle for the Adopt A Heart give that doll of yours a real heartbeat.

They would do the same i imagine, just like the snuggle puppy, heatbeat pillows and the Adopt A Heart. I'm yet to work out why a human would want one thou??

I'm hopeless with ft to metres - would I need a 6ftx12ft for a delux gazebo I use the 6x12ft / 1.8x3.6mtr This means it sits around 20cm above the ground, and wraps around 20cm, on each side of a 3x3 gazebo.

Oh I would love to see this, do you have a link?

It is not a Cervical smear the bitch is not having a pap test, It is a Vaginal smear - it is a sample of epithelial cells from the vagina wall, the swab goes no where near the Cervix.

Medical staple gun, bloat kit, degas - I hope I never have to use them but with all the traveling for shows it's best just to have on hand. Off the top of my head mine has Manuka honey, betadine, vetwrap, powdered savlon, condys crystals, aspirin, thermometor, antihistami, tweezers, scissors, neocort needles and syringes, ampules of saline I will look in the medical box after and add what else is in there.

Don't waste your time on the smear! I took a bitch to get a prog test done, they said do you want a smear as well - I said yeah why not - Bitch was day 7 . They came back from the smear and said you missed her - I said No I haven't, my dog would have told me blah blah. A prog test was insisted upon (by my mentor) and it came back later that day with 9.4, I had not missed her the smear was wrong! I could have just left her after the smear and i would have missed her that season If I had of relied on the smear only. Prog test IS the only 100% reliable way on know what stage your bitch is at.

Oh but didn't you know they saved a life, yeah and bloody well risked plenty of others in the process. I have no respect for those who take straight from the pound and put them on planes. THINK PEOPLE!!

What a lovely person Dave from dabews miniature bull terriers is, he has sent me some details on this interesting whelping box design. :D Dave even invited me around to view his whelping box, I would love to take him up on the offer, but is in QLD thou. The trampoline is a timber frame that sits on the pig rail covered with the type of bait netting that fishermen use, the object of the exercise is to stretch the netting very tight so that when the bitch lays down her weight defects the netting and allows the puppies to gravitate towards her nipples, the netting is stretched by plaited builders line on the underside of the trampoline, one line going east and west the other north and south, it essential that the netting is kept very tight otherwise the bitch will be sliding down on top of the puppies I have used a trampoline on top of the pig rail for almost 50 years, a squashed puppy is a rarity, if the bitch lays on a puppy the netting stretches and allows the puppy to breath and squeal, hopefully the alerted owner will rescue the pup before there is a fatality. It is essential that the whelping box is kept as small as possible, the bigger the trampoline the more difficult it is to keep the netting tight. After making a trampoline, set it up in your whelping box, cover it with an old piece of blanket and let the bitch sleep on it to stretch the netting, then tighten, repeat two or three times until there is very little stretch left. Dave said he will also try and find some photographs

The picture worked but we can't see any of the box, or how it works.

Its says.. Our whelping box is 30 inches square and has a trampoline on top of the pig rail that deflects if the bitch should lie on a pup allowing the pup to squeal for attention, it is vital that the pups do not get chilled. As the shade cloth forms a dip from the mothers weight this would cause the puppies to roll into the middle and not get away from the heat source. At the same time if she did lay on a pup it would be able to get air through the shade cloth, but could already have permanent damage due to the mothers weight. I don't see the benefit.

Applied undiluted.

I know of two people who have recently had this done on their bitches BOTH were wrong! Cells may show one thing, doesn't mean they are right. They were using the cells in conjunction with progesterone. But it's all over the place. They were doing the same. Progesterone is reliable, cells are not 100% - even if done in conjunction.
