Judges are taught from the Standard not the extension. if the extension is not used in training judges, why does the ANKC site say that 'Extended Standards are compiled purely for the purpose of training Australian judges and students of the breed'? I don't know why, I just know what they are taught.

Removal depends on the breed of dog and the breeder. 80% of people in my breed remove them. Some breeds have to have them according to the standard.

I agree can be a bit of dicey at times. I find the rings not being big enough more of a PITA. AND why do many Stewards not move the table out of the way when the Big breeds come in? It makes our running space even smaller. Well we did have a bigger ring last week didn't we Sway I don't know what you are talking about.
