  2. We've had a blue foster with brown eyes, picture is here.. http://greyhound-adoption.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=126080166 They might be genetically amber but the colour was very much brown (although that photo doesn't demonstrate it very well, it's just one of the few I still have of the dog in question). that's rights, genetically they are not brown. A dog with a dark eye is still dark even when in the sun. A dog with a dilute eye becomes much lighter when in the sun, then a dog with a non dilute eye. I can't see the picture as I am using my phone, will check it tomorrow.
  3. You obviously don't know much about blues then, they are a dilute and can't not have a dark eye nor will there coat be that dark it almost looks black.
  4. Everyone will have to do it new and existing members. In VIC our membership cards are a plastic type card with your details printed on it. So far we only know what we have read, I'm sure as time goes on more will be released.
  5. Estelle is great, and very patient with us dog people
  6. How big is it, seriously you keep extending the date.
  7. As a breeder is doesn't bother me that people have a preference - it bothers me when they ask for specific markings ie. Blue with white feet but no white on chest etc
  8. My breed comes in 7 colours black, blue, fawn, brindle, mantle, harlequin and merle. I prefer black and blues. It's like buying a car in a round about kinda way Make - Great Dane. Options - Health Testing, Registered, Breeder Support. Model - Conformation Heavy, Light, Tall, Small. Colour - Black, Blue, Fawn, Brindle, Mantle, Harlequin.
  9. I do the same with a program called TV to DVD there are many free services that do it for you these days.
  10. As we are always looking for a bargain I thought I would present the latest in control for those bouncing puppies! Harris Scarfe has them on special 1 for $25, or 2 for $59 in a lovely selection of colours and sizes some of which are not displayed on the website. Product Info
  11. I would email [email protected] and ask if they could change it for you, as entries are still open then may be kind enough to do so.
  12. Agreed, my puppy people are told outright they will not know which is there's until 8 weeks+. They either chose to wait or not, if they get pushy I put them back in there box!
  13. Better be there! Yours and fifi's were posted at the same time, fifi hasn't got hers yet I am waiting on a call so i can pick up the last of them.
  14. YES!! I swear by this, I had to use it the other week after my dog ate a corn cob! Nice gentle vomit.
  15. I assume once your ID has been sighted your account will be flagged as ID provided, they would not need to look at the ID copies unless there was a problem/report/error etc. Just like a video card or library card.
  16. Certified photocopies and mailed in I guess? I wonder if they would consider holding an ID day at a show run by office staff or someone they appoint etc. Show your ID and they would mark you as having complied with the new ID requirements? I will email and ask tomorrow. The flyer I posted above says : other persons in membership to provide documents.
  17. Agreed. I did not say who I was, I just said I was there to pick up papers for XXX - they should have asked for proof to make sure I was the owner of said papers. You show ID once to prove the details they have on file for you are true and correct. They are interested in your name/address etc more then your face. It's harder to forge a licence then it is a postal address. It is for new and existing memberships when re-newed. And yes they should check it every time you ask something in regards to your dogs or membership. If not I could ring up and ask about your dogs as long as I knew your basic information. No, but you have to show your membership card (which you had to show proof of ID to obtain) - this would be the same situation.
  18. Hopefully they will forgive me, if not I bribed them a little. I sent my money off today with a note in regards to my entries and small donation to the club for being an idiot.
