  1. We have used a 30cm on Danes and it's ok, but 35cm is a better length (standard length is 25cm) Lucky I cut my own to size
  2. I'm pretty sure it's not one of there's I have one that looks similar from them and it's not the same. I have also checked what they currently sell and they do not sell one like that. This was sold by a DOL in the market place in off topic - they used to sell a few of them in black and possibly brown.
  3. It's not one of there's, I have one and it's not the same.
  4. I wish to buy another lead EXACTLY the same - please do not suggest others that are good, I want this one! I'm pretty sure it was sold by a DOL person, the listing had the leads all wrapped up with a rubber band around it. I have had the lead for 4 yrs now. I have search old threads but can not find it.

  7. The sizes they have listed at Harris Scarfe are.. 10-16 B/C/D/DD/E 18 C/DD/E
  8. Harris Scarfe actually have more sizes than stated on the Berlei page, I had a look today and they had some 18E's But the question is, do they have 10E's for those of us who are small but have big bouncers? Yes they do!
  9. Here is one for you, I laugh everytime I think of it. Breeder has a dog out on terms with pet people, they live 20min from me so off we go. My mentor who is going to do the AI is close to death with chest infection and can hardly breathe. The dog has never been used at stud and the owner has never been part of dog breeding. Owner brings out the dog and can't control him because the dog is so damn excited as he thinks he is on a play date. The pet owner brings the dog close to the bitch and the dog is jumping around like an idiot, after all he is on a playdate. After a few minutes of the dog doing anything but mounting the bitch, Mentor says give me the dog, and the pet owner just stands there looking on. I am holding the bitches head and the dog attempts to mount the bitch over her head then her side etc Bitch is getting annoyed as she knows what it is all about, so I hold her head and flip the lead around my neck to keep it out of the way. Dog again tries to mount to high, he catches the lead and gets caught in it. I get pulled down and can't get the lead off and I am getting strangled! Mentor is down the other end saying let go of the lead as both the bitch and I are heading for the ground closely followed by the dog as he can't get his leg out. Get the lead off and the dog mounts the bitch from the side whilst my mentor is wedged in the middle of them. Bear in mind she is controlling the dog, can't breathe and has to do the collection! Meanwhile the pet owner is watching on with BIG eyes thinking WTF !! Mentor can breathe as she is sick, adding to the fact she is laughing to much - first at me for nearly strangling myself, poor pet person who is watching us molest his dog and at the dog himself as he is being such a clown. In the end the collection was done with the dog mounting the bitch sideways with my mentors leg wedged in the middle of it all! Fresh AI done resulting in 8 puppies. Arh the joys of breeding Giant Breeds - both dogs weighed in excess of 80+kgs and were over 82cms each at the wither.
  10. Fingers crossed for puppies!!

  12. Rosettes for all In show awards, Sashes for Group awards. Over all I like Rosettes.
  13. It's the first time in History that they have done that, not to mention there show is 2 months off and has an entry of 3000+ and not a show of 200 odd that is on in a week!
  14. It does sound strange! But I think I know what you mean. A very good tip and easier to syringe in peroxide than pour in Lectric Crystals for a large struggling dog perhaps. I agree, I just syringed in the peroxide.
  15. YES!! I swear by this, I had to use it the other week after my dog ate a corn cob! Nice gentle vomit. Good work! And well spotted! How much did you have to use (I'm thinking litres ) 50kg dog I used 20mls, then walked him around for 5min, then another 20mls and within 2-3min a vomit and the offending corn cob! It sounds strange but it was a very gentle vomit, no major heaving etc - just a nice gentle vomit.
  16. I would have thought so? Numbers are meant to be posted at least 1 week prior to the show - that would mean they would need to be posted no later then today!
  17. I would ring them and ask to be safe. In VIC we can use them, but not leave them on the grass over night - nor tarps as it will kill the grass.
  18. Maybe Trevor is going to photograph it in various locations around the globe and send you the snaps Don't give him ideas!! Runs to pass Trevor his passport! :D Hope you have your new Berli support bra on
