  1. They like effection Not big malting dogs (I get alergies sometimes) Playful Grow to a resonable size that isnt too big but not to small Lots of energy Like walks
  2. Ahh awesome thanks!!!! As you can see by my many posts and concerns im sure its obvious this is my first puppy.
  3. Sam is getting hickups atleast once a day is this natural for a puppy? She just woke up with them a minute ago also
  4. Im sure when the pup gets sharper teath he wont think its funny. I read somewere tea tree oil but im not sure it is good or bad for the dog and if it would be effective.
  5. Ohh my 10 week old beagle pup wont stop chewing!!! She decided mums neck would be nice for a chew yesterday! not impressed. She goes through these moods where she turns 'evil' if one would call it that and chews hands, shirts everything. Im not quite sure what to do.
  6. Would the ignorance technique work in this case: 10 week old beagle, when doing dishes etc in the kitchen is continually jumping up on the cupboards, crying and barking etc?
  7. Would this work with my Beagle because she is going past the mouth and biting a bit at the moment, im sure she thinks its a game though because she seems to get reved up when she is doing it. She bit my mums neck yesterday and im a little worried about how to calm her down, yelling or moving her doesnt work, if you move her she continues to bite your hands. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  8. My local vet doesnt start the class for another two weeks and by then they said she would be to old.
  9. Hi Mel, I tried and they arnt starting for another two weeks and by then puppy will be almost 12 weeks and they said she is too old. They offer another class for older puppies which they said I should attend and are sending me out some info on. Ill let you guys know what it is to tell me if its worth it or I should find another puppy school. This one happens to be close and is run through my vet.
  10. Ahk cool thanks, that makes me feel better, I just didnt want to be doing anything wrong. I love her so much. Glad to hear its something she will grow out of. Normally there is always someone home but there will be the odd hour that no one is (not at the moment though) and when she is outside I dont want her crying and annoying the neighbours, although I know a little of this is expected.
  11. Now she is crying a fair bit when she isnt getting 100% attention all of the time. Im not sure what I am going to do when I have to go out for a couple of ours in a few weeks.
  12. My 9 week old beagle keeps crying when no one is sitting down or laying down next to her. This isnt good when she wakes up in the middle of the night or I go out and she is at home with other family members or even when I am home. Im not sure what to do. :D Thanks

  14. I have a puppy I have had her two days, she is 9 weeks old and has just started mouthing a bit. I know this is normal but is there anyway I can stop her from doing it as much? Also she cries a little, even when I am in the room. Im not sure why. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
