  2. sam has some belly shaving as well, i never realised how freckley she is lol, i was thinking if she was completely shaved shed look like a Dalmation with big floppy ears lol
  3. Sam got done yesterday, today she is absolutely fine she got desexed and microchipped on the same day. We payed extra money for her to have i think its called an IV drip?
  4. ahh Sam is the same, we have bifold doors on our bathroom, now you can imagine how hard it is with a puppy to have any privacy when you are the only one home alone and the lawn is getting mowed so the puppy cant go outside. Sam pushed the doors open when I was in the bath one day and jumped, yes jumped up and into the bath, bubbles and water everywere!!!! very cute though lol. Also if your not fast enough she tries to hop in the shower lol She absolutely loves water and cannot get enough of it!
  5. When we went Sam was absolutely terrified of every dog, she tried to hide behind my leg, jump into my arms etc. she wouldnt even let them lick or sniff her. The lady who took the class was really great, she allowed Sam to go at her own pace not allowing the dogs to go near her and push her. A few sessions later she was sniffing them and letting them lick her. They are they only dogs she would let near her for a few weeks, now she is getting better with every dog that approaches her, she wants to play with them all now.
  6. I thought the same with sam, but after speaking to my vet majority of puppys are like that.
  7. Sam was the same she was playing with her rope toy when I was cooking and it came out and skidded along the kitchen tiles lol blood all over the toy and floor.
  8. We did the same with Sam, it has taken her a month or a bit more to get out of it but with patience it will happen, just remember to growl or put the dog outside so they know they did something wrong. Sam was at the point of grabbing clothes and putting holes in them, ones that people had on them LOL Everything is fine now, no issues at all.
  9. It could be the weather, when its over about 30 degrees Sam goes off her food, I will just leave the bowl there and she will eat when she is ready, sometimes she will only have half the amount of food she would normally eat.
  10. Cut them when he is a sleep lol Thats when I do Sams and there is no issue, she wouldnt stay still long enough if I did it when she was awake.
  11. Wait till Daisy starts to jump!! Sammy can jump over a meter high! we have had to move everything she jumps from one thing to another and pulls things down off the tables she can reach, little terror :D
  12. Sam had the runs one night and kindly pooped in the water bowl so it wouldn't go on my bedroom floor. How considerate
  13. Make sure there are rewards for going outside eg maybe a food reward and lots of praise.
  14. I have a beagle and she has only just started to go through the night the last few weeks.
  15. I have a great oatmeal shampoo for sammy that my vet recommended, its very effective and she smells nice :D
  16. Sam used to for the first few weeks we had her, she would go to the toilet about 6 times a night LOL and not want to go back to sleep after and wanted to play. Im glad to say she has grown out of it now and is sleeping through to 830 in the morning
  17. Yeah I waiting for Sammy my beagle to be fully vaccinated more so because pavo is ripe in suburbs around ours at the moment. If you want to take your dog to a new environment rather than your yard go to a friends house, one whos dogs have been full vaccinated. They will love the new environment.
  18. Try tipping some of the water from tuna or salmon over the food also.
  19. When I try and leave her outside for a few mins she continues to bark so its kind of hard to let her in when she stops what do you mean by rescue remedy?
  20. When ever she is outside alone with the door closed, she is fine with it open. Its more my neighbours i am worried about.
  21. Thats what I said im NOT going to use one on her. Inside puppy and 19 weeks. She is free to come and go from inside to out as she wishes.
  22. Sammy will just continually bark when she is outside, nothing will occupy her or stop her. Someone suggested I resort to a shock collar I dont want to do this because I think it is cruel (just my opinion) Does anyone have any suggestions?
