  1. We haven't had that problem with our dogs ( quite the opposite actually ) mind you our dogs are regularly fed raw so that could be a factor Southdale supplies all the meat for the carnivores at Perth Zoo so they must have a good reputation
  2. Sothdale is in Byford, A & D pet meats in Midvale are also great & a good 1/2 hr closer a word of advise would be to call them a couple of days in advance & place an order as they have a large client base
  3. "Southdale" sells to the public, I don't think they do poultry but the would definately be able to help you with offal from both beef & lamb as well as goat & horse, they would also be able to sell you lower legs etc
  4. Oh forgot to add he also has a bit of a wind problem
  5. My OH owns a 10yo Min pin Desexed male, the problem is he has trouble emptying his anal glands & also suffers from allergies. Currently he's fed a diet of Prota dog raw mince with lamb & kidney & some chicken necks, he's in good condition but could be slightly lighter, his coat is great & he's a very active dog, but obviously his diet is poor & he needs to have it improved, so I was hoping for diet suggestions? basically a weekly diet sheet? he's a good eater & not at all fussy! Thanks in advance!
  6. I know someone who is moving to Albury in a couple of months & they have asked me to find out if anyone knows of any Agility or Obedience clubs or any training that is run close by, so where else would be better to ask than DOL thanks in advance for any info
  7. I have tried all sorts of joint supplements for both horses & dogs & the only one with a really noticable improvement (even with tendon scans) was a product called "Primeval" I have used it on a GSD that was diagnosed severe HD at 5months old she had the mandatory cartrophin & other joint supplements with little releif but is on 1tsp a night of Primeval & is now 7yo & gets around with no obvious signs of discomfort, we also have a 20yo SJ with bad joints on Primival & he looks a million dollars & is jumping well.
  8. I'm so sorry for your loss ;) He was a stunning boy & was lucky to have you to love him as much as you were fortunate to have him in your life. Remember all the happy times & take comfort in the fact he had loved ones beside him when he passed. Hugs to you in this hard time :D
