Bond my 12 and a half month old elkhound today took BEST IN SHOW/JUNIOR IN SHOW and New Australian champion at ACT Ladies Kennel Club Inc - entry of 588 (Mrs S Foster (SA)) :D

We have 2 baby girls and 1 baby boy and 1 stillborn whelped 7/5/2010 1st puppy little girl came at 9:30pm last night, the second girl came at 10pm and the boy came at 4am this morning a 6 hour gap. Vet sad it was fine. The stillborn puppy arrived after. All puppies doing well as well as mum ETA Vet said there could also be more puppies if so, will post an update

Just took Tora's temp and it reads 37.2c. day 57 of pregnancy. Any day now.

Bond loved your cuddles on Sunday Wolfsong. and Allie looks gorgous Thanks, I am very happy with her, except her sled dog impression I bought her a light check chain for the ring so hopfully with a little training that will stop this in its tracks. Bond is looking so nice! I can't believe how cute he and my OH were sitting on the ground getting cuddles OH is now totally in love with the breed off cause (thank god, it was a choice between an Elkie or a Bullmastiff and I can't live with drool, so give BOnd a thankyou hug from me for winning OH over like that ) and can't wait to get his own I loved how Bond kept crawling closer and closer for more cuddles :D Too cute I can just see Allie having fun with her own "permanant" elkies friend

Thanks Elkie, it was an awesome entry of Elkhounds. Someone thought I had the breed lists wrong because there were so many!! So to the Elkhound people for supporting the show. Was a change from being the 2nd lowest breed entry to the 2nd highest breed entry

I love this breed... I own elkhounds and some of the Borzoi I have come across have taken a liking to my elkies. I know that Alyosha's puppy lovesplaying with my elkie. I find this breed to be very eligant
