  3. Camera phone today, for something different. I do volunteer work where we take kids with Cerebral Palsy on outings etc. and today's was Taronga Zoo

  7. Thanks for the lovely comments! I agree that there are SO many amazing photos in here that it's hard to comment on them all. Although I did particularly adore the mouse in the teacup photo from a few pages back
  8. Determined to get a shot for today, I dragged poor Ollie out into the rain. I ended up with four that I think are worthy of posting. And the poor doggy..

  15. Thanks JS That's a great idea, I might follow suit! I also picked up another lens today but that can always be February ETA: Just thought I'd test the low light capabilities of the lens. Took these tonight with only a lamp on in the room, 1/25 f/1.8. Nothing special, just a sleepy cav!
  16. Definitely still learning how to use it, the shallow depth of field is something I have to watch out for! Missed a few great portraits today because an eye wasnt in focus etc. Anyone got some fool-proof tips? Here's one I liked, just a street candid:
