Good to know of some great results. Molly has been put on frusamide and is having a ultra sound and xray next week and then most probably will go on vetmedin. Why wouldn't she be put on vetmedin straight away ? Vet sort of said if we get good response to the fluid tabs then he would put her on them after the xray and ultra sound confirmed that it was the valve causing the problems

I use Joint guard As well as glucosamine it has chondroitin, MSM, Vit C, zinc,copper and Vit E . There is an initial dose then once the dog has been on it for a certain time there is a maintenance dose. Apart from swimming if there is a place nearby that offer hydrotherapy it is excellent. Especially a water tradmill as it gives great non weight bearing excercise .

It was with a very heavy heart that I gave Savannah her wings this morning You came into my life nearly three years ago. I am so glad I decided to adopt you as you have given me so much love and laughs . I knew you were very special and it just seemed so right to take you in and give you those extra years. This became even more apparent when I found out that you and I shared a birthday When we had our little talk this morning , I knew that your body just couldn't go on any more, you needed to get to the bridge were you could chase bunnies and butterflies once more. Run free and enjoy yourself till we meet again . RIP Savannah 9/8/95-15/10/09
