  1. We have exactly the same rules and after this thread i was mentally adding rule 4 and 5 to the list as well. We do give them the chance of being escorted out though and warned not to come back. White tails and redbacks are killed on appearance. We also have rule 6. Stay the hell away from the dogs and my bedroom.

Im sure she felt no pain and just kept running straight on up to the bridge where she will wait for you to be reunited. This is small comfort to you im sure when there is such a big hole in your heart. My thoughts are with you and your family.

  9. Thank You all, the hearing is coming up soon so not a lot of time. I have been assured that this petition will be printed and provided to the judge. I know a lot of people are of the opionion that petitions do no good hoever it really doesnt take any time and it cant hurt at all. I am beyond sickend by the way this horse had to leave this world and to do it for pure pleasure .... There is a special place in hell reserved for this people.
  10. I know this should go in OT but i really would like for as many people to find out as possible. I also know many people say that petitions arent worth the paper they are written on, however this one will be printed out and presented to the Judge on the day. So even if you think they are worthless please sign anyhow, doesnt take long and it may make a differnce. Also if you can please forward to others. ANDREA HAYWARD October 7, 2009 A man has allegedly shot a horse with a crossbow and used his mobile phone to film it dying on a property in Western Australia's Goldfields. A 30-year-old man from Norseman, about 190km south of Kalgoorlie, allegedly killed the horse near the town on August 1, police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said. August 1 is the day acknowledged as the birthday of all horses. The man was charged with cruelty to animals and failing to ensure the safekeeping of a firearm and ammunition. He was also charged with the possession of unlicensed ammunition. Police allege the man found a group of horses about 7.30am that day and shot two arrows from a large hunting bow, at one of horses from a distance of about ten metres. "The horse, which was in pain and shock, received substantial wounds from being shot," Ms Weatherall said. "The man then kicked the horse with significant force to force it to the ground and filmed the horse suffering and dying." The vision was seized by police after someone allegedly viewed it on the man's phone and alerted the RSPCA, who referred the matter to local police. The penalty for animal cruelty ranges from a minimum fine of $2,000 and a maximum of $50,000 and five years imprisonment. RSPCA spokesman Richard Barry said details of the case would "shock the whole of Australia." "I've never seen anything like this," he said. The man will appear in the Norseman Magistrates Court on October 21. 15. From the dictionary Noble: a very impressive or imposing in appearance; stately; magnificent: a noble monument. Certainly fits.
  16. I have to disagree, they are an incredibly noble dog and incredibly smart. Youll have to come to my house and watch my lounge lizards when lifting your head is too much effort . We have three and yes they play hard at play time, but come sleep time they also sleep hard - Sienna wont get out of bed before nine (will also add she is happy to stay there alone too)- no she isnt old, just not a morning girl. :D
  17. I would most certainly agree i often have my two godsons over at 9 months and 2 years of age and my girls are fabulous with them, even my boisterous six month old puppy. As with any dog/child combination they are never left unattended together but they genuinely take good care around the two boys. Most of the questions have been answered but i can contribute to photos My three girls Acewild Ella Enchanted aka Flute aka The Flute Loop aka The Tasmanian Devil
  18. Ellie was the daughter of a stray - born on the side of Mount Gladstone, we have Ellie's mum Mollie here as well there is no way of knowing what breeds she has in her.
  19. Oh Chewie i know you were hoping for him to slip away at home in his sleep, its what we all want. I guess having to make the ultimate gesture of love is the price we have to pay for a life of intense love and loyalty and what a huge price it feels too. Surround yourself with those that knew him best and spend some time together today remembering all your very favorite Elliott stories, grieve for him and think of him running young and refreshed on the bridge. You know he will be thinking of you as well, he knows how much this decision has cost you and knows this shows just how much you loved him. Thinking of you and your family.
  20. Well i have a few ideas up my sleeve to try again tonight. Such lovely shots there are here - so much talent, its awesome to see how differnt techniques work.
