Stunning photos!

I chose the German Shepherd Dog for their intelligence, versatility and loyalty. I love watching GSDs work - be it police/military work, search & rescue, schutzhund, herding, tracking, agility or obedience - they do it all! They are an impressive looking dog and I love the way they chat to you, it's such a distinct sound The bond they have with their family is second to none, I always feel a great connection to them. :D I currently have a 10.5 week old GSD pup who has me wrapped around his not so little paws already

They are all fantastic shots, especially number 4 - love it!

I can't believe it's been 2 years since Asher passed, feels like only yesterday sometimes. I've been thinking of him a lot lately, but the memories are good I welcome all the memories, good and bad, because I never want to forget him. He gave me so much in the little time I had with him and left me with a love of the breed that will never die. I am so grateful to ish for allowing me the priviledge to have known and loved this beautiful boy. I thought I might share some of the memories He was a gorgeous puppy - love this photo ish took of him He was cheeky and from day one when he came home made it his duty to annoy Lilly and Kayla He and Lilly would play with their cuz toys for hours on end together, Kayla just liked to follow them around with her goofy grin. He shocked us all on his first outing to Kepala by leaping into the deep end of the lagoon pool after Lilly at around 12 weeks old and from then on was a huge water baby, preferring to leap in to water rather than take the shallow end! When he left us just shy of 9 months he was starting to mature into a beautiful boy, I wish I could have seen him at full maturity Small video http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w300/Li...ayingaround.flv 'Do not cry because I am gone, smile because I was here'

The S5 IS is a great camera for a point and shoot, my mum got one recently before she went to Scotland. Remembering that she's a beginner, these are some of the pics it took on auto This one was taken through the window of the bus she was travelling on, whilst the bus was in motion Low light and moving subjects

Can you access the camera via My Computer? If so you should be able to browse the camera folder and copy and paste all the files to your computer. (It does take a while to load the camera folder, but if it doesn't seem to be doing anything, right click and refresh and wait a bit longer)

What did I say about making me cry at work
-
Thank you everyone for your kind words, it has helped me a lot. Thank you for the lovely poems and PMs, and thank you ish for your words, support, friendship and giving me the wonderful opportunity of bringing Asher into our lives, he was and always will be my heart dog. I have made many wonderful friends on DOL, and the support and kindness showed to me by them and many others I have not met is just overwhelming and I thank you all from myself and my partner. Flava, thank you for your friendship and support, look after that boy of yours, give him hugs. Too many lovely people to name individually, and they know who they are, but those two I have mentioned are the ones that were closest to Asher besides myself and my OH, and I know this is hard for you also.

I still cant believe you are gone, one minute you were running around like a nutter with your fav cuz toy, the next you could not walk. I know you fought hard, and know that we fought hard for you too. We did all we could to give you a chance, and in the end, the best thing we could do for you was to end your suffering. You were taken far too young, but you gave us so much in your short life. Until we meet again my best mate, give em all hell up there! Rest easy buddy 'Do not cry because I am gone, smile because I was here'

Kayla has had poor coordination since she was a pup, but the pheno made it a lot worse when she first started taking it. She was started on one tablet twice a day, but she could barely walk she was that unstable. The vet did warn me it might affect her while she got used to the drug, but after nearly a week of having to help her get up in the mornings and her falling over all the time, I asked the vet if I could drop the dosage down. So we put her on half a tablet twice a day instead and after a day or two she returned to her level of coordination. Thankfully when it came time to do the blood test, she did have a therapeutic level of the drug in her system and she's been seizure free since. If your dog has only just started taking it last week, maybe he just needs more time to get used to the drug? Good luck with the CT scan, hope it gives you some answers.

PM sent, hopefully to the right person -
Congratulations on the new addition, bet she is gorgeous! Have you got some photos to share with us? Just wanted to say unless your shepherd is going to be way over standard, your pup wont end up weighing 50+ kilos. The GSD standard says females should weigh around 22 - 32kg when fully grown. As for socialisations, I would be very careful where you take her until she is fully vaccinated, because of the risk of parvo and kennel cough etc. I am in Vic so cant help you with safe places to go in your area, but someone will hopefully pop in and give you some suggestions. There is a GSD thread in the Breed subforum if you haven't already seen it, please come join in and tell us all about your girl!
