Best in Show all 3 days over the easter weekend was Gr Ch Sunhaze Korona 'A''Z' BSCL1 owned by Nicole Hammond. These wins took Korey's Best in Show total to 18 Reserve in Show on Friday and Sunday was the French Bulldog of Ross Thomas'. Reserve in Show on the Saturday was the Boxer owned by Margaret Mason. Townsville itself doesn't have a whole heap of shows, but our zone (Far North Qld, or Zone 3) has a pretty good schedule of shows... Townsville is the middle point I guess of our zone- But most people travel four hours both south and North to attend more shows. Check out: http://www.dogsqueensland.org.au/default.aspx for all Qld shows- but keep an eye out for Cairns, Atherton, Mareeba, Innisfail, Tully, Ingham, Townsville, Thuringowa, Proserpine, Bowen, Mackay which are shows that are held within a four hours radius of Townsville. Our show season really only runs from late March to Early October due to our extreme heat up here though, so we miss a lot of the year...

As long as Atlas is registered to DQ- and has a rego number then you can just enter him using a show entry form but the registered owner- will have to sign it for you. You can show Atlas on the day though- any registered member can. You just need to register the dogs that you want in your name, and same deal- just enter them using an entry form. You can use this site to do your entry forms and just print them out www.showmanager.com.au Plus it keeps track of entries, results and everything else too! You can use it on a trial basis with 1 dog, or register for 15 dollars for 5 dogs. I love it!

I always camp so then Adam and I can both drink... I can volunteer Adam to carry the crates around! He's pretty useful for that! ;) The trick is you have to get him carting stuff around before be buggers off to golf! ;) If you change your mind and want to bring 2 shoot me an email/message and I will help you out!

oh Sharon- so sorry to hear of Bandit's passing... he was a little dog with a big personality and I will always remember him dearly for putting up with me taking him around the ring for junior handlers. He will be sorely missed I'm sure.... my sincere sympathy...
