  1. Wow brilliant captures and perspectives of that same track tlc ! Love your treatments of them also, well done ! :D Its funny how when you get into photography, you see the simplest things through your eyes, that you wouldn't have once :D
  2. Thanks tlc ! Most of my pics have stories behind them, which I usually write about in the description part of my flickr uploads I just don't want to clog up the thread with them all :D
  3. land and lake scape :D I'm enjoying looking at everyone's beautiful photos! :D
  4. Thanks TD ! Its a cardboard cut out sheep we keep in the boot of the car for when we go out on landscape photoshoots. just kidding ! Btw, love both your captures too, especially the first one !
  5. Thanks tlc ! Loving all the pics !!! tlc, there's a birthday post for Lea in OT
  6. Wow, that capture is so dramatic looking Roxy_n_Axle, well done, looks great !
  7. This one might be too large for this thread? but it's best viewed large .. It's from around my town Lovely photos so far everyone! :D Are we allowed to submit more than one image??
  8. Hi Muffin I knew of a Cav here in SA that lived to 17, and he only passed away because of old age. That is not the 'Norm' for Cavaliers tho..
  9. That's good Bub is at the vets and is receiving treatment now.. He will be ok ! Just try not to be too hard on yourself ok !
  10. Joey has to have two molars removed soon (and a lump on one of his eyelid). I am wondering about this also, especially since he's having a couple of things done at the one time! So I am interested in what other dolers have to say about it all Hope Osca recovers quickly and is back to his normal self soon !
  11. Normal dentals for small dogs cost about $400 with one of my vets. Thanks Puggypuggy Yeah some Cavs are prone to them (they arn't supposed to be anything sinister tho, but can cause other complications if left) I am sure he will feel better after he has it all done, well when he gets over the initial pain of it all I think the dental part will be about $400, and the eye lump removal about $200, if all goes to plan
  12. Hi and thankyou for responding Munchin Oh that unfortunate your boy can't have the other ones removed because of their location I am glad the eyedrops help, and that he is doing ok
  13. Update about Joey's eye lump Hi Westiemum My apologies for not having responded to you ! I had tried to forget about his eye lump for a while, but it's got bigger, so had to take him back to the vets today again about it. The vet said it's a benign adenoma tumour , and it will need removing soon. He also has to have two molars extracted eeek! (Its apparently common in smaller breeds of dogs) She would prefer to do both procedures at the same time, so he doesn't need to go back again under anesthesia, as he doesn't do too well coming out of them Its going cost us around $600 which we don't have atm because we are trying to buy a house ! talk about bad timing !! Anyway it still has to be done regardless over the next month or two! 'wedge excision' is what they said they will be doing, like your Sarah had. I am glad (and feel more reassured) to hear she recovered well and quickly from her procedure ! I just hate thinking that he will be in pain with his eye and his mouth
  14. Great pics everyone ! ;) I'm too self conscious to put up pics of myself, but here's a little one of me and Renae taken a while back. It looks a bit fake because I tried to do something creative (a painting effect) with it and mucked up LOL I wouldn't mind one of these days getting a professional family photo done of all us ! (like Erins, which are beautiful !!)
  15. Happy 3rd birthday to your adorable and very cute looking fluffy dog SM !
  16. RIP sweet Cosmo ... Thinking of you Popsicle
  17. Hi Gretel Oh thats good about Ingrid's tiny eyelid lump not ever eventuating to anything too serious Ok I won't overly worry about it at this stage. Think getting rid of Renae's cyst on her tail bone might be more important..
  18. Oh ok, thanks for that puggypuggy. Your family dog lived to a good age too ! :0
  19. We use that one, and the leave in conditioner if we are going out somewhere special, smells lovely !
