  1. RIP Bruce Thinking of you TS *hugs*
  2. hehe thanks whippets ! I did taste a little bit of one, it wasn't too bad ;-) Might add some chopped up parsley to them next time (as i just read in another thread it's good for dogs that have bad breath) Hmmm just wondering if cooked parsley has the same effect as when it's given fresh tho?? might not work as effectively ?
  3. I made some for the very first time the other day. Had run our their usual doggy breaky biscuits, so decided to give it a go Didn't go by any recipe, just found ingredients that I had, and chucked them in a mixing bowl lol Can't tell you exact measurements but used.. 1 egg wholemeal and white plain flour small dash of rice bran oil grated cheese grated apple grated carrot cinnamon (and a small shake of cinnamon sugar on top of them) rolled oats They came out chewy rather than hard, so might need to work on improving them next time lol They are loving them !
  4. What a great idea, Looks lovely !
  5. My friend has got two of these crosses, they are cute as far as little doggies go, but both of them are undershot/overshot with their jaws (which makes them look a bit weird)
  6. It's at the bottom of their cat boarding page.. http://www.bedbiscuit.com.au/cats.html
  7. There's meant to be a good one in Middleton, up my way, not that I have ever seen it. Just that a few people I know have spoken highly about them. Might be too far away for you tho??
  8. Gosh that place looks really impressive !!! wish their website was a bit more detailed tho, as it's left me wanting to see more of it ! That's how they all should be ! Wonder if your dogs have to be vaccinated to be allowed there?? doesn't say it on their site, but it might be just a given thing ?? The fees seem reasonable too, not that I know how much pet boarding places normally charge?
  9. Awwwwww ! How has she been going Aimee ? Very well captured pics of Ruby !
  10. True ! I have heard too many horror stories concerning weddings, photographers, Mothers and MIL's
  11. We have been asked to take some photos for a wedding next Sunday. As a rule we refuse to do wedding/christening shoots (even tho we have been asked quite a bit!). We just arn't into that type of photography and too many things can go wrong ! Even the professionals have a hard time sometimes (you just need to read professional photographers forums to hear about their experiences) Plus people expect to pay you lot less ( because you aren't a professional), but expect the same quality and level of professional photoshopping/editing done ! it puts too much expectation on you.. However I did take some for my husband's boss's daughter (more just for my own collection, as she had a professional photographer). A couple my photos got into the hands of a web designer recently (without my permission) which he built a banner for a big wedding site with them! So he must have thought they were pretty good at the resolution he did them in ! ;-) I got the banner taken down tho, as one of the bride's family found it and was surprised to see their sister's wedding pics in the banner on the site !! We have been asked by one of my friends from my childhood days (altho I don't have much to do with her now), but she's invited me to the wedding, and because its a very informal beach wedding, she's asked if we can bring our cameras along. Not sure if she is having a professional photographer? So I have been roped in with it. This will be the last time I will get myself in this situation. I'm more into landscape/animal photography and not wedding photography, and PS ..
  12. Oh how exciting, well done and Congratulations Tess !
  13. This topic is always very popular when it comes up ! It should be made into a sticky ! I'm a vego, not all the way like a vegan tho. But I have always fed my pets meat (even tho it makes me feel sick sometimes). My Cavs probably get a lot less meat than my previous 'bigger' working type dogs, but they seem to be ok with how I am feeding them ;) I probably should give them more bones, but they won't really eat them, so i make up for the chewing aspect with chompy treats that last longer than 5 mins LOL
  14. I agree this is very concerning. Personal threats should be repoted to Police without question, I would feel very worried personally. Having said that, why on earth would people insist on further tormenting an already twisted soul here on this thread? Comments on how she manages her kids with or without a walker, assumptions re glasses of wine and what ever else has come up are irrelevant. I have a back ground in disability services, brain injury and MH issues, it's not pretty. The majority of people have pointed out that their screening and adoption processes are right on track and have stopped this person before even getting a chance. Thats exactly how it should be. I have a disability (and close to getting a walker), so i just wondered how hard it would be for her? i don't have kids, and probably couldn't keep up with kids if i did have them perhaps i shouldn't have added that bit, as it wasn't really relevant. you have a valid point there (my apologies), just that this thread has been quite weird regardless.
  15. What a very bizzare situation ! I wonder how she keeps up with her 2 year old twins with her needing a walker ?

  21. I've always rented until recently, so have always gone down the cremation path with all my past pets.. We have just bought a house, and hubby was digging up some dirt in our back yard the other day, and came across the last owner's deceased cat ( just a skeleton now) So he dug a deeper hole and re buried it ... We will probably bury ours here when the time comes, but will make sure we dig a long way down. (We have crows that find anything dead here grrr)
  22. loving all these pics !! :D :) :D Now i want one so i can call him Kermie!
