This thread has got me thinking tho that we should have sort of plan in place in some form.. just in case. I'm usually home all the time, but it could still happen when while I'm in the house too!

Oh really Indigirl, that's horrible ! My neigbours are lovely enough, but one lot are elderly and have health problems, so not sure if they would do anything? and the other one is a single Mum, but she's rarely home . She's got a dog, but we hardly ever hear it !

Sorry I didn't mean fire fighters, I was thinking about just random people or neighbours.. Tho I guess if i was faced with that situation, I probably would risk my life for any one's animals too. I just meant I would hate to think just anyone would put themselves in that much danger.. My apologies if my comment came across wrong.. We are all animal lovers on here, so I guess most of us would take that risk ..

Oh it must be horrible for the poor dog ;) I've owned a few male dogs in my life including Joey now, and never seen or heard of it happening before (apart from reading about other people's dogs on here)

In theory it sounds like really good, idea but like others have said I wouldn't want anyone to sacrifice their lives to get inside our house,. Different if the pets have somehow managed to get outside and are straying. I was going get some stickers made up at one stage of our dogs to put on our rubbish bin, but a lot of people said me wouldn't that be promoting to the 'wrong' people that you have dogs (especially if you are not home, and someone tried to steal them) I worry about it tho heaps, especially after what happened to Jed ;)

Oh now i know where it is ETH.. I was on the right track before then I might go down there Sat morning then, not sure if we will take the Cavs tho, as their yapping might be a bit of a distraction

Hi Robbie:) We live in Goolwa (since late last year) , but for the life of me can't remember where it is exactly! I know we have walked past the dog statue at some stage ages ago. Hmmm I'll try to find out for you. It might be about it in the local paper that comes out this Thursday. (I'll have a look) Its not a huge town, you think I would know where exactly it is wouldn't you! :D I'm thinking it might be somewhere along the wharf ...

Our Ragdoll and Joey are totally smitten with each other.. but gets along with our other Cav (Renae) too. Our Maine Coon x has never really been into the Cavs. She doesn't hate them, but tends to keep out of their way. She's never been that affectionate with them like the Raggie is

Joey always yaps/growls at funny animations, some people and animals on tv. He's our bad tv detector LOL The other day I had the tv volume down and I noticed he was growling at the screen. I couldn't see why he was going on so much. Then i looked closer at the corner of the screen, and there was a dog on a lounge, but you could only see its backside. He had still managed to work out it was a dog ! LOL (it was on the Circle on channel 10)

Interesting, not that I understand it fully. A few years ago I googled about it, and thought Joey had some of the symptoms described. I think I was just being paranoid at the time. He hasn't shown any other signs since then, and he's now 6. What is CM Miss B??
